Please, share stories about being stood up. Perhaps this should also include other relationship disappointments, things that didn't make you angry at another person but to think less of them.

I was supposed to get back in touch with an old girlfriend who I was very close to. It was clear from our communications that we were going to have coffee tonight, so when I called her she said that she had to do something quickly and then she would call me and we would go. Well, she never called, and I can't say I'm surprised. She's so goddamn unreliable.

Anyway, post away. I want company :(

yesterday my friend said she wasgoing to pick me up today so i could see my two friends before they move to Arizona but she "forgot".

so today when she didnt come i was like whatever and then my friend evan IMed me and asked if he could come over at 6 30 (pm) well he ditched me too since its 2 am and he hasnt gotten here.

I got this really, really HOT cambodian chick's number. She was really dark-skinned, dark-haired and dark-eyed. She had a smallish curvy figure and she gave off this amazing scent the entire time I was talking to her. It was no problem to get her number, she gave it out in a heartbeat. Apparently I was friends with her boyfriend and she didn't know. She must have seen me talking to him in the halls or something. At the time I was completely in the dark about her being his girl.

Anyways, we arranged to get some coffee sometime. Later in the day she saw me with her boyfriend when we were passing in the hall. I said "hey," and kept walking. She called me to cancel it later in the day when I was actually at the tryst point.

Fuckin hot chicks.

Not stood up, just left waiting for a long time. How many people have got the "I'll be there in a few minutes" speech then waited hours?

When we were in grade 10 my boyfriend (right now, but not at the time) stood me up a couple times. He said he would meet me at the train station, but never did. This was before everyone here had cell phones, so I couldn't call to see if he was on his way or whatever. I was soooo fucking excited to hang out with him. So I started out giddy with excitment. That feeling slowly melted away to devastation when, an hour later, I accepted the fact that he was not coming. I felt like such a retard, sitting at the train station by myslef. I took the bus to my best friend's house and cried and cried. It was horrible and humiliating. I had the biggest crush on him, but then he crushed me. :(

But 5 years later we're in love, so I guess it's not all bad. :)
