Re: Rockin the 40 oz
Its not any one 'beer' I'm talking about, just that most 40s (that is, brands that are only made in large sizes) are fairly low in alcohol.
High Life is sold in all sizes. Even the legendary "king can", the King Can being a 2 pint (32 ounces) can. Mostrous.

Re: Rockin the 40 oz
I prefer good beer over any kind of malt liquor. Yingling or Rolling Rock are both good choices for what they cost.

Rolling Rock is terrible. Thin and watery, it's never a good choice. Never heard of the other one though.

Re: Rockin the 40 oz
its yuengling. brewed in penn. a good compromise between the cheap (mil. best, pbr, etc.) and higher end beers (sam adams, various microbrews, etc.). i enjoy it more than rolling rock, which i agree tastes like piss.
the volume does not change the percentage per volume. obviously, a 40 oz will contain more alcohol than a 12 oz, but the percentage per volume stays the same

Re: Rockin the 40 oz
hurricane 40 is like 8.9% and a steel reserve is like 9.4%. and it cost less than 2 dollars. But they don't taste all that great. I'd rather drink Shiner Bock, its only 11 bucks for a 12 pack of bottles and it tastes good.
