Default Rioting parets?

I'm not exactly sure where to start, but then again I think I say that every single time I create a thread. Not sure how many people have seen me around, not that it has any relevance to this thread, but...it wont hurt anyone to say that. mmmm... I would really hate to sound like an angsty teenage bitch, but I guess I will anyway.

This is about my parents..*sigh*, they have been fighting for years now, but nothing is becoming resolved, I dont know where I stand (as one of their children), I myself have become involved on occasions which has resulted in my barely talking to my father. Like I said, they have been fighting for years and I have no idea what to do or say anymore.

My father wont admit that he is wrong in any situation which is where all the fights pretty much start, he apparently 'knows' that my mother is sleeping around and what not, but because he fails to admit fault or that he is wrong the situation will never get better. He constantly complains about never being able to go out anywhere ..

Sorry, this is turning into Bitch and Moan... but, I just dont know what to do anymore. I can't ever honestly say that I can see them getting completely over this. My father just turned 40 and my mother is a few years younger..I thought that might give you a bit of a better understanding of the situation somehow.

But..what would you do in my situation? I know that you folk here are fairly decent people and most probably a lot of you have gone through this or are going through this. But, from your perspective, what should I do, should I do anything? Or should I just let it carry on for another 5 years? I kind of need all of your help.

Thanks in advance..

I don't think there's much you can do for your parents. They are adults afterall, they should be able to fix their own messes.
What I'm worried about is you. You seem totally stressed out about the whole thing.
Maybe have a chat to your friends about it, someone at school/college/helpline or something.
I've had some domestic problems too and it really helped to talk about it.

Peace.

And that's why you're a moderator.

Am I the only one who thought (hoped) that this would be something nicely sexual? A confession of his 'Feather-sexual' nature & the unnatural actszors of an unspeakable nature with the 'Polly-wanta-cracker' types? EEK! :(

I thought there were going to be fighting PARROTS, but was sadly disappointed. Your dad sounds like an ass.
