Got in a little argument with my girl tonight. For those that want the short version skip to the bottom, I'm gonna make the rest long. I've found I'm a good story teller, plus (probably the main point of the thread) I want to see it written out.

Backstory: Met her and started dating her when I was 16, 21 now (she is 6 months older then me). We went out for about 2 years, then she cheated on me while at cheerleading nationals in Florida. Broke it off, didn't talk for about a year, started talking, started fucking (just sex no relationship). Sure enough, we started to get involved again. We finally started dating a couple months ago.

Now for today. We hung out for a bit after class then she lefty because she thought she had another class from 6-8, but it was cancelled. We were going to hang out again to watch the Ultimate fighter at 9 central (keep this in mind, if you are actually following the story, time plays a role). It's the only reality show I've been addicted to, and she started watching during the 3rd season, for those of you who don't know, it's in the 5th now. Anyways, she called me to tell me her class was cancelled and told me to call her when I get done with dinner. At about 6-6:30 I called her, she said she was doing her hair. This most likely wasn't a line like most people would suspect, she is black (please keep the nigger jokes to a minimum, it doesn't offend me, I just want to cut down on the 1 line spam jokes, too annoying. If you are actually going to give your opinion, then feel free to make all the racist comments you want) and had just taken out her extensions the other day and was messing with different hair styles. She said she would come over once she got finished. A little after 8:30 I was kind of wondering where she was, so I called her. She was at the casino with her mom but, "We're just about to leave, I'll be there before the show starts." Bullshit line right there, takes about 10-15 minutes to get to her house from the casino, then another 10 to get to mine. I pointed that out to her, and she swore she'd be on time. At 9:05 she sends me a text message asking if it's alright if her mom just drops her off (pretty much asking if I'd give her a ride home). Sure enough at a little after 9:30 she shows up at my house. I look slightly annoyed, and she asks if something is wrong. So I tell her (in a mostly polite way, didn't raise my voice, didn't make any accusations, no profanity, etc.), she didn't say a word to me after that. She sat on the couch and pouted like a 9 year old girl that didn't get her way. I got more examples of her being late, and telling me she won't be, but I figure this is long enough, and I don't feel like being redundant, so skip to the short version if you want to see.



SHORT Version: My girl is constantly late, and never tells me when she is. Today she said she would be over soon, only for me to call her 2 hours later to hear that she was at the casino with her mom. We make plans to go out, I'll call her the day we make plans to make sure it's still on, when I show up to her house, she isn't there. I'll call her to get, "I'm with my mom, we're heading home now." This happens at least 50% of the time, when I said something about it, she wouldn't talk to me and just sat pouting in the corner. What annoys me the most (besides acting like a child throwing a temper tantrum) is that she doesn't care. It happens constantly, yet she never gives me a call to say she will be late. Do I have a reason to be upset or am I expecting too much?

Its a black girl thing. If I know I have to meet up with a black girl, I tell her to be there 30 minutes before I actually want her to be there because I know 9 times out of 10 she will be late.
