My friend, who is a newspaper journalist, traveled to deep south Mississippi to do some story or something. Thinking she'd be discriminated against, because she is full korean, she decided to tell people she was actually indeed --white-- and proud of it.

Anyway, basically what happened was people believed her when she said she was white, with no other races mixed in or anything.

Would you ever be convinced of something like that? If I were those people, I'd be like, do you seriously think I'd believe you?
