Honestly, I was going to post a thread very similar to this. I didn't ask a girl out and get rejected, but instead the girl I liked got asked out by another guy.

Actually what happened to me was nobody asked her out except me, I still think she likes me and even her best friend thinks she likes me shes just afraid to date me.

Nah dude, it's fine. I have had times like that... I guess that I am in one now. There is a few reasons, like it can be a result of pheromones and/or a psychological thing after you set your mind on someone. I base that on nothing, but the point is that you're situation certainly isn't abnormal.
