Re: The Official "What Song is This?" thread
That's a hard one.
...
I also have a hard one. It's from the 80's, it's kind of a funky tune, almost old school hip-hop, and I remember it because it played against footage of an audi sport quattro rally car in a promotional video for audi. It features the following lyrics:
...and you Dance!
And you Jam!
If I say stop then STOP!
Don't stop! A-COME ON!
As you can tell, it was a rather enthusiastic song, but it was the catchiest shit in the world and I would so much like to drive whilst listening to this song, if only I could figure out what it is!
You can still find footage of Walter Rhorl's performance behind the wheel with an instrumental version of the song playing in the background on Youtube. I'll try and dig it up and see if anyone can help.
Edit: I found it. Here is the video with the song playing.

Re: The Official "What Song is This?" thread
I need to know what the name of this and who it is sung by. The only words I remember are: "Oh lolli-lolli lolli-lolli lollipop....you taste just like candy...you're my lollipop, you're my lollipop...".

That's
The Chordettes - Lollipop
My song ID help involves a song that sounds like Metallica or Whitesnake or something. A bit "hard rock" if you will. The lyrics go somewhat like this:
They see the lights are burning (?)
They see the him _________
His crime is time and ___________
It also sounds like "Charlie" is said throughout the song, but I can't be sure. Charlie as in the NATO call sign, as in Vietnam slang, "Charlie." This might not actually be in the song though.
-Edit-
Skid row - 18 and Life.
Found it.

It's my fault, I guess I should have said this in the beginning of my post.
The song I'm looking for has some of the same lyrics as the song "Lollipop" and I believe it is even an old pop song as well; but it is difinately not the The Chordettes' version.
If it helps I heard it on an episode HBO's Real Sex. :P

Under the Bridge seems to stick out just a little more than any of their other songs.

The opening song from Loose Change 2nd Edition
What is the name of the opening song to Loose Change 2nd edition?
Here is the video:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...q=loose+change
It starts at 11 seconds. I think it may be a remix of another song. Both or either would be great.

It's a remix of Ennio Morricone's "Silhouette of Doom".
