Damnit, I think I'm being toyed with.
Alright, let's weight the evidence here, both for and against an actual relationship:
Positive:
She did kiss me once.
I have to call her to initiate an activity (meaning I'm not "on call" when she's bored.)
She apparently hates being a virgin as much as I do, and we're both 18, so pressure's on.
We pay our own ways whenever we do something.
Negative:
I have a car, she doesn't even have a permit.
I am NOT an attractive person, so we can assume there's no physical attraction.
She won't shut up about her emo ex boyfriend, and that ended like a year ago.
I have to call to initiate an activity (apparently not much interest on her end).
She refered to me as a friend.
We've known each other for a couple of years now without anything happening.
Based on this evidence I've presented, would you say I have an honest shot here, or am I just a tool to boost her self esteem? I've already tried the standard friend-to-boyfriend approach by cutting off contact for a few months and reinitiating it, but that doesn't seem to have gotten me anywhere.
Normally, being the supreme being of logic that I am, I could sort this out on my own without dragging Totse into it. But, since I can't be sure I'm not emotionally involved, I'd like some non-biased opinions.

Re: Damnit, I think I'm being toyed with.
It looks like she's not interested. Of course this is just what I think as I've never met the girl, but from the fact that she doesn't call you when she's bored it seems like she doesn't really want to be around you without you first initiating it. If you got into a relationship it would be just you maintaining it. Plus she talks about her ex boyfriend to you while you both remain "friends."
If you want to try for it you're gonna need to throw caution to the wind and just go for it.

Doesn't seem interested.
But if you have no qualms about the risk of losing a friend, go for it.

Goddamnit, I'm going to have to eat my own advice on this one.

Re: Damnit, I think I'm being toyed with.
Waste of time.
She doesn't shut up about her ex...That would annoy the hell out of me. It probably also means that she still has feelings for him.
Fuck being second best.
Also, if she hates being a virgin as much as you do, how come she hasn't parted the pink sea for you yet?
She's talking bullshit.
Dump her.

That is a very good point.
