The girl im currently interested in is the ex girlfriend of one of my best friends. Sometimes when im with the same friend and his new girlfriend they make fun of his last girlfriend and im just like errr. Im wondering what advice you can give me to help ease the tension if i was to ever date this girl. And how to manage my time with both my friends and this girl so either one doesnt get annoyed. Not true dude. There are a few variables that need to be taken into consideration:

1. How long were they going out?

2. How serious was it?

3. How much did he like her?

4. How much did she like him?

5. Who ended it.



4. Matters because she might only go for you to get revenge on her ex.

Well they didnt date too long like a month. He didnt really like her too much and he said she was over obsessive. And he ended it with her.

If it's a friend's ex, she has to have been an ex for at least a year, and you have to ask your friend if it's cool with him. If he says no, you've got to back off.

If the "relationship" was just under a month and the guy didn't really like her then I'd say pretty much the same as Arquin. Get his blessing and go for it.

The whole point of the rule is to not try to step in and make a girl forget about your buddy or compare you to him, which can lead to shit between friends. Also because it's unfair to have intimate fun with someone who your friend has feelings for.

In this situation, the friend has no feelings for the girl and openly makes fun of her.
