Birth Control for Men
In short, the "wife" isn't comfortable with the pill any longer, arguing it's unnecessary since we're using a condom. I'm a mostly drunk twenty-something whose main goal in life right now is to NOT have kids. Paranoid of a defective condom and figuring an abortion wouldn't be the best of bonding experiences for a young couple, short of getting snipped, what're my options?
I ran it through Google, where all I get are clinical trials on the pill for men. One article made reference to an injection, a patch, and a gel (?) but I couldn't find any mention of those anywhere.
Help stop another Totsizen from procreating !

Re: Birth Control for Men
tell HER to use the sponge or something...I think theres a shot or something you can get now (for women) that keeps them infertile for a long period of time. Tell her to stop being such a bitch and just do it. If you get drunk a lot, which I do, you dont want to have to rely on condoms...I dont use them anymore, too hard to get on drunk...

Re: Birth Control for Men
We're going through much the same thing at the moment. We have two lovely kids, and don't want any more.
Our options will probably end up with me being snipped, but that is a very permanant thing (well, expensive to reverse, anyway), so may not be too suitable in your case.
There is not a lot you can do as a man short of pulling out or using a condom.
There are a lot more options for girls, like IUD's, the pill, depo injections, etc....
I feel for you dude, and will be watching for some serious answers...

Re: Birth Control for Men
Your paranoia of condoms seem to be a bit unfounded, but if you're that worried, pull out and blow it on her tits.
Why won't she use birth control? How hard is it to pop a pill every day? And there are other options for her too.
I came in here expecting actual male birth control. I'll take it, but only a year after it's introduced so all the fools who jump for it right away are the guinea pigs.

Re: Birth Control for Men
99.9% of the time when you hear about a condom breaking, it's because they never in their life looked at the instructions on the box.
Male chemical birth control is still experimental, as it has been for about 20 years now. Don't get snipped unless you never want kids.
I plan on getting snipped. My bad genetics outweigh my good ones in my opinion.

Re: Birth Control for Men
The "pulling out method" is not birth control, It's Russian roulette.

Re: Birth Control for Men
This is fucking unfair. The only non-condom birth control available for women is the pill, and ONLY WOMEN stop taking it and get pregnant as soon as they find a rich guy. Tell you what, the world would be a much happier place if guys could take care of themselves and not have to worry about the woman blackmailing him into mariage.

Re: Birth Control for Men
Isn't there an implant for women that lasts 5 years, or so. Just tell her to get that, your shit is permanent and that isn't
