Ok, before i get started you've got to remember i'm completely insane and that i love this girl with everything i have.

Well lets start with the simple biological thing, my girl is having two periods a month, each lasts for seven days. I am aware that this is not normal, perhaps not healthy. Suggestions and advice would be welcome becuase i don't know really know what to think about that.

And now to the more complicated issue.

Her other personality is going out with one of few people i really trust, a true freind of mine. They were going out before me and her got together. How would you react to this situation? Would you try and subtely drive them apart? Say you're not ok with it? Learn to live with it?

Last of all, she wants me to stop smoking and doing drugs, she has good reasons to be anti drug, it completely fucked her brother up and she's seen freinds screw their lives up etc. Then she says to me last night, i don't want you to change anything about you for me. Unfortunately the whole druggie scene is part of me, it's where i feel most comfortable and where i enjoy life to the full.

Oh wait, theres one more i can't believe i forgot. I also have split personalities and one of them is gay. I am rather weirded out about him doing shit with my body and have so far stopped him, but he claims this is unfair. Thoughts on this as well are also appreciated.

About the two periods thing, have her see a doctor. Usually they put her on some type of birth control that evens out her hormones and fixes the problem rather quickly.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that neither of you have actually been professionally diagnosed with a dissociative personality disorder, being as a true case is very rare (and medically disputed) and that it doesn't involve knowledge of the actions of the other personality.

As for the periods twice a month, she should see a doctor.

Mr Happy man, from you that burned. I can understand why you would think that, with the steadily increasing influx of kidiots and attention whores. We have both been clinically diagnosed. I'm used to people calling bullshit, but from a totse member that i respect it stung.

She has had this problem for the two years that i've known her, before she was going out with me or the other guy. I have pondered whether i might just be bisexual, if i am then i have repressed it so deeply that it is finding other ways to come out. I have not let him do anything with my body and i have never experienced any sexual attraction towards other guys.

I'm not sure she will be entirely happy to go to a doctors and i'm sure as hell that her parents won't take her or give her permission.

I shall do my best to offer a sincere solution, thought take it with a grain of salt.

2 periods might be normal, I do not know. I'm not a doctor. Have her see one. There's no reason not to. Problem solved.

Define "going out". As in, they date and fornicate? Don't stand for that shit. Tell her that no matter how fucked up a person is, they don't make excuses for cheating. Make her choose between you and your friend, and then think about getting her on medication for DID. Don't buy into her DID as a reason to cheat on you. She doesn't have to stop seeing him in a platonic sense, but cut the going out crap.

The drug scenario is not as hard. You have three choices. You can give in to her, and stop doing drugs. This is probably in your best interest, as drugs are merely a timewaster (that I can't seem to get rid of), and you'll be better off without. I, however, understand that drugs and smoking is difficult to quit, and you should take it at your own pace. Your other choice is to explain to her that's who you are, and continue doing drugs, but making sure to prioritize them at the bottom of your list. Don't do copious amounts of drugs with her around, and cut down on the second-hand smoke. Your third choice, which I don't recommend (take a look at MLOR) is to do drugs without telling her. Sneaking a joint here and there is fine, but don't tell her you're clean, and then do it behind her back. You'll both get fucked.

As for you being gay? Well, think about which identity is really you? Are you perhaps the gay guy? Or are you really straight? Either way, if you can't silence him, go to a doctor for medication.

Well, if she's actually diagnosed, I would tend to say if she can't remember it happening, it didn't happen.

How are the logistics of that though? I'm a total noob on the subject, but assuming that its how I think it is (which it undoubtedly isn't) what if she shifted while she was with you? Can you count on her being her for a set period of time?

Needless to say this is all very weird, but I'll just assume you're not a troll and probably be wrong later. Oh well.

Chris is going out with helena who has a split personality who is going out with chrises best mate(alex). Chris also has a split personality who is gay and wants to have relationships but is currently not allowed.

I am chris, alex is my freind, helena is my girlfreind, rose is her other personality and xavier is my other personality.
