Talking to a friend about an abusive boyfriend
So I have a friend who has a boyfriend who treats her like complete shit. Every time he talks to her he's calling her a dumbass or telling her she's and idiot, and just generally harassing her. On top of this, ever since she's been dating him she's developed a coke addiction. She seems to think that no one notices, but I've had friends that were addicted to coke, and it's pretty obvious.
Anyway, I want to talk to her about this, but I don't want to come off as prying or anything. What should I say to her about this? What should I avoid saying?

Re: Talking to a friend about an abusive boyfriend
Just ask if anythings wrong with her/her relationship/her life in a nice, sensitive way. If she says nothing, than ask her if she's on coke and that you're worried about her. Don't force her to talk, but make yourself extremely available.
