So about a month ago, me and my ex had broken up on our 1 year anniversary. It was a surprise to both of us, but ehatever. I've broken off contact with her as much as i can, although i'm still polite when i see her. We go to the same school, and work at the same place which makes it worse, but i'm quitting that job soon. Since it's been almost a month, it's easier and easier to dealwith things like her with other people and not being so close. Basically for me it's like 65% of me doesn't care, and the other 35% still hurts because of it.

The problem i have is toinight there is a party i'm going to, and she is probably going also. Now i'm concerned withthe fact that if i get cocked, and i see something i don't like, i may get into a fight. That's a bit extreme, but if she does go, it might make for a shitty atmosphere.

I'm still contemplating on going. There will be a shit load of people there and i'll be there with my close friends, however my best friend is dating her best friend so he'll be with them all night becuaes he's a pussy and doesn't trust his girl for shit.

I just need a little guidence on what to do. Shouldi go, or shouldi not go and hang out with other people. The reason i want to go is because i want to hook up tonight, and it'll be alot easier at a party, then with just a couple friends. But the shitty part i've noticed with my life is when it rains it pours so i'll probably walk into her blowing some dude... or maybe not, but regardless.

Yeah i've been looking inot high school relationships lately after this experience and see it as worthless. I mean, this isn't the fuckin 1920s anymore, high school serious high school relationships don't last until marriage anymore. I mean basically all teens do is set themselves up for failure, and cause pain to themselves and others. Yes it is nice, and give you a secure feeling when you have someone so close that you can rely on, but at this age it's just not neccessary.

I'm trying to set my mind into the attitude of just hooking up with girls and not getting seriuos. Maybe i could just follow in the footsteps of the supposed claims rappers make. You know "bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks".

As much as i do take that route, i'm still on the path of getting over her. I know myself very well, and i'd say atleast a week and a half to two weeks i'll be almost completely over it. I don't allow myself to think about it yet.

The shittiest side for this is my best friend is too wrapped up with his girl (my ex's best friend) i set them up for two reason over the summer. 1. to get her best friend out of my hair so me and my ex could have alone time and 2. to still be able to hang out with him. Now it's sort of back fired for me.

Maybe i'll just get mad baked tonight so i don't think about it, however the only side with that is my "charm" level just plumets, and i wont hook up unless the girl is cocked... however now that i think about it i may just do that. get blazed, slam a hot chick, then pull out and aim for the tits. brilliant!

Just be mature about it. If you do run into her at the party a simple "Hey, how've you been doing?" should suffice. It's not like you actually have to hang out with her....
