Any of you go in for 'friendly ' rivalry with you dad? Non sexual I mean, like games and stuff?

I don't normal compete with my sons. Was never really good at pc games and they grew up with xboxi attached to their hands.

But the other night I downloaded an old game from 1998 called 'moorhuhn 2' (think it was called 'Chicken hunt/country varmint in the US) which took europe by storm back in the day.

AND THE KIDS CAN'T FUCKING TOUCH ME ON IT!!!

My dad, at 58 years old, still kicks my ass in tests of strength. He was a collegiate gymnast, and was doing backflips off the diving board into our pool well into his late 40s.

Someday, though, I'll top him.

On the rare occasions I still see my father, it seems like he's trying to compete with me. He's not happy with how things are for him, and he can try to hide it but it's obvious. He's a good guy, but not happy. I don't like it at all, it's sad and it makes me feel guilty when I shouldn't.

Oh, apart from playing pool. Whenever I do see him we have a few games of pool . He beats me most of the time but if I have a few games for practise I can hold my own.

I'm the reigning pool master, even though the pool table is at my parents place, and dad can practice whenever he wants to.

He hates me for it

I do a lot of straight sex threads (This last week "Birth Of A Sadist" and "ow to take her virginity"). And once again I remind that we take 'affection' to cover all aspects of human relationships ...including family and kids.

My dad and I don't really have rivalries...More like a healthy respect for each others' abilities.

I, for example, wish I could do carpentry, metalwork, plumbing, electrical, plastering, etc, etc, etc anywhere near as well as he can.

From what he's told me after we've had a few beers, he highly respects the way I can build rapport with people, talk to women (even though he was the master in his day), do anything I put my mind to and how hard my punches are when I stand up for myself (Broke his nose with one punch when I was 18 even though I regret it very much to this day. It was a coming of age thing for him. My father's father before him, that type of thing.)

Many guys try to live up to their fathers in many ways and and do one better.
