Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I am. I am 19, you know, why worry too much? I have had two lovely girlfriends in my life and I am sure I will find another one again some time, but why sweat it.
People should relax more.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I'm actually in a relationship for the first time in like 2-3 years...I had sex during that time, but no real steady relationship. and I loved being single. No worries, no obligations to another. Being single is great, but you tend to go on longer stints without sex. I really like the constant sex I get in my new relationship. I wouldnt like my current relationship though if the girl hung around me too much....I still need my space.....

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I'm the same age and I have been single for almost half of a year now and I enjoy it. I like having my space and having the freedom to do whatever the hell I want. I can also avoid the problem of being with someone and then finding someone who is more attractive or just more interesting.
Yeah, the periods of time without sex can be longer but whatever.. it's not too hard to find someone and have a one night stand every once in a while. And being with someone doesn't mean that you're necessarily going to have sex all the time anyway.
Anyway, I have had about a half dozen girlfriends and a couple of one night deals and I think that being single is great. That is unless you manage to find someone absolutely perfect for you- but even then it probably won't work out.

I'm in a relationship and I'm not getting any sex yet.
I look back on time when I didn't have to buy dinners fondly.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
Being in a relationship can crtainly be nice, but in some ways it doesn't compare to the relative freedom of being single. Right now I wouldn't mind if I was getting more action with women, but I'm happy enough living the bachalor (sp?) life for now.

I get as much sex as I can handle, but am techinically single.
I like it fine. I have no deire to get into a relationship again. And I damn sure don't ever want to get married again. Unless it's to re-marry my ex, haha.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I was single and couldn't be happier, until two months ago when I suddenly felt like a girlfriend. I went out with a really hot chick, but it didn't last long enough to go any where...so my massive libido is being wasted . Now, and I really want a girlfriend/loose whores.

Ha, I don't even try and get (or recieve) casual sex. When I am single I live like a priest (no offence to any of you that choose to have casual sex, it's just not my style).

Single. No, not really ok with it and not even because of the thing itself, I just need to figure out why it is that I can't make anything last. It's been too long since I last had a girlfriend.

Had a relationship with a very good woman for 3 years. I've been single since late last june, and have no plans to get a girlfriend anytime soon. Too much other stuff going on right now

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
Yeah, I'm quite happy with being single at the moment. Broke up with my girlfriend and was quite happy about it.
I just love being single and not having to worry about anyone else. I hate most humans so being by myself gives me less worries and more time to do what I want.

You know what you have to do.
lawl
Anyway, I'm single. I've loved it so far (that being 2 years now) I've had a few casual things in-between, I tend to have friends with benefits, rather then one night stands, which is nice because its like a booty call, but its ok to cuddle and then hang out afterwards
Although this year since I've moved back to university I'm now living with a couple, and even though they are terribly dysfunctional, its really made me want to get into a relationship thing again.
I've put it off for quite some time - probably because I got hurt very badly and very much fucked over.
But in that 2 years I've become a completely different person, being so independent has made me a lot more confident for some reason, I've grown up hugely in that time.
But yes, its really time someone nice came along - as long as it is a normal relationship! No long distance and no losers.

Too busy trying to find a Condo. You try worrying about sex when you're about to blow 200k.
HOWEVER, if I do get a condo soon, BAM, all the ladies will be flocking.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I'm 19 and I'm sick of being single at the moment. Haven't had a girlfriend since last...June I think.
I've had sex since then on random nights out.
The main reason I hate being single, is because of loneliness. Seriously. It's at the point of life when everyone's moving on, and I don't really have and friends left now. It's cool to go out on the weekend when you're single, but going through the week, I get lonely.

I know how that feels. I've always had a very loving family that has always been around for me(not). So I'm that used to being alone that it just doesn't affect me anymore.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I am a sophomore in college, and I don't even believe that humans are destined to be monogamous creatures... I can only be with a girl for so long, before I get bored and want to find someone that will keep me guessing elsewhere.
Many a girl have been let down by it.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I got married at 17 - divorced at 19. After that I was pretty much single for 4 years. I dated and had a few psuedo-serious dating relationships but nothing that last more than 2 or 3 months. I was pretty content to be single because I had always been attached in the past. Before I was married I had had one boyfriend from the time I was 13 until I was 16. Then I met my husband and was with him until I was 19. A few years without a man felt good.
I got to date who I wanted, talk to who I wanted, wear whatever I wanted, act like a fool if I wanted, I could act like a slut even if I wanted. I wasn't accustomed to this kind of freedom before. But, after about 4 years it did start to get old - dating that is. All the interviewing and bad sex. I was happy to get my boyfriend and I've been with him a year in May.
Cheers,
Lost

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
No, I don't mind being free. I enjoy both equally, but I find if I go looking for romance, i'll find it, but it won't be right. I wait for the right ones to fall into my lap, which I love. My relationships are nicely spaced out (plenty of recovery time, heh), and the ones I do find are worth the wait. I'm perfectly happy with my single life right now.

I was single for about I dunno a month lol. Before I met my new gf. The longest time that I have been single since I was 13 was 3 months. I like single like but if I'm with an amazing girl then it doesn't really matter

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I hate being single. I get some occasional pussy, but I haven't had sober sex since I was in a relationship..
I like feeling comfortable around a girl, making love, not just a quick drunk fuck. There's cool stories to tell but in the end, I'd trade it all for a serious relationship with a girl I love.
College is the wrong place to find a girlfriend.

There's lots of things I like about being single. There's also lots of things I liked about being taken. The idea is to look at the bright side on either end of the fence. If not, you'll find yourself with a lot of problems.
Single: No holds barred, pussy is out there, time for friends/work/family.
Dating: Pussy all the time for no reason.

I'd like a fuckbuddy/girlfriend to have a constant supply of sex.
There are only a few girls who I've met who'd be crazy enough for my tastes as a girlriend.

I am dissapointed that your morals dissapeared so easily. What happened to you man? you used to bitch about sluttiness and promiscuity and I used to be all "QFT". Now you won't even look at me when we make love.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
I'm 18 and have been in a relationship for a bit more than a year now. And I think it's just about to end. As in, tonight really sucked. Hence me whinging about it on the net. So um...reading about all you guys having a good time being single has given me a bit more confidence. Cause I think I'm a bit..well..yes I am dependent. Which really sucks and it's stupid so now it's going to stop.

Re: Is anyone else actually single and OK about it?
Hmmm, I'd enjoy it if my ex would leave me alone.
I want to 'act my age'. I really don't want to get into a serious long term relationship with a girl to realize I'm not ready and that I wasted my youth. Because then I'd have to break up with her just to slut around to find out if it was her I was supposed to be with in the first place. Then I might lose her in that time.
So why not get the slutting around out of the way now, so when I find that special girl, I'll acknowledge exactly what she is, special. Then I'll be able to appreciate her all the more because of the shitty connections that came before her.
