Okay I'm kind of sober... this is okay and this is going to be a long read but I'll sum it up in at least 3 sentences at the bottom. And plz forgive my English.

First of all I work in a county library. It's a public library so there's all kinds of people coming and going (there's homeless people, college students, people who sit in the same chair from opening to close, etc.). I work part-time with benefits which is a good thing, but that's not the problem.

I'm only a library page and not a librarian so I can just mind my own business and do my job without interruption from my supervisor.

The problem started a bit two weeks ago when I started noticing this one asian girl (she's super cute) come to the library at the same time I work and get off work. I found a really scary pattern where she would come to the library 10 minutes before I start working then leave a bit later after I get off work. The thing is she's only there when I'm working. I am pretty sure she's in college because I see her in the morning.

Now this is where I get really scared. Whenever I see her she would smile at me and I'd just brush it off then look down the floor while walking away! I always do this and it always happens! It's not that I am a shy person, all I'm trying to do is make her not interested in me so she'll think I'm a loser and leave me alone.

Then on one occasion she brought her friends with her (I dont think they are asians AND NO RACISM INTENdED). This meant nothing to me but I was getting really scared when I went on my break to smoke outside. I thought I was alone but they were hmm I think 15 feet away from me and they were talking about something. I felt really paranoid I thought they were going to jump me (I know im stupid for thinking that in the first place).

A couple days after that she'd be alone again but this time she tries to start a conversation with me. I'm all right with that kind of stuff because I try my best to get along with the people I talk to. The only problem is she's giving me the creeps but I don't think she's a killer or anything. The more we talk the more we find something in common with each other (I like chococat she likes chococat )

A couple days ago she asked me if i want to go out with her. I screwed up big time and said yes. I thought it was just a "go outside the library" thing but now I'm really screwed.

totse please help me. I find great advice here all the time, except that this is a unique situation for me. I need to devise a plan where the result will be me looking like a big fool in front of her so she'll hate me for it. Or any advice I will appreciate.

O and I dont want to just tell her off because it is not my style and I'd feel guilty too.

To sum it all up

Totse how do I show a girl that I'm not interested in a relationship? If the worst comes and we go out, how can I show her in that situation how I am not interested?

I will try to update as much as possible. We go out this Wednesday T-8 (which is very bad IT IS HER BIRTHDAY)

This happenned to me once. I just sorta hoped it would go away. They ended up calling me while drunk/stoned etc and saying to meet them somwhere and I was like, "nooo". So then they got the point.

I just dont want any bad past experiences to happen again. I had a... well not a relationship but it was borderline, and something bad happened then I thought it was my fault. Our whole thing was put on hold then she fucked up and I didnt know what I was supposed to do. I stopped talking to her because whatever I said came out the wrong way.

I have plans... I am not going to take her to a restaurant, but we will go to the pier. There will be alot of people there and we will check every fuckin shop. I think this is the best way to get to know her because I can find out what she likes. BUT I WILL STILL DROP THE WHOLE THING OFF WITH HER IN THE END.
