Okay, so I am next to 15 years old and am going to my first real party this weekend, but I have no clue...

What are 'house' parties like? You know the ones where high school kids go and get drunk and hook up? In a party with mostly 14-17 year olds [I guess], will there be alot of alcohol, and will I be able to hook up with someone?

Another problem I have, is that over 100 people are going, and I barely now any of them. Most of them are Greek, and I am an Aussie...That's like one white person being surrounded by 20 black guys for you Americans. I do look Greek however so that'll help me when meeting strangers.

Yeah, I have alot of questions but this encompasses them all: What are parties 'really' like totse? Need help!

Just get really fucked up and you won't care if anyones greek/aussie. Unless its ur first time drinking, then take it a little slow. But yea, this one party I went to I did so much pot and I didn't remember shit from the night before and I was confused cause there were a bunch black dudes that kept calling me. :/

Girls will come around and sit on guys laps when they gesture to them. They will act like filthy whores, clawing their way up the male social ladder.

The alpha males will proceed to get 'blind drunk' and have a sixpack all to themselves.

The HARDCORE kids will have CIGARETTES and BOTTLED BOOZE.

Some concerned kid will point out that it's past midnight, the party goes INSANE.

It is at this point where you take a girl into the garden and have your first good pash.

they suck. everyone is going to sit around, drink, then go in the bathrooms and fuck. that's about it. i went to one high school party, and i've only been to one since being in college. unfortunately, they don't get any better.

Parties are usually fun, as long as you're not shy. If you're too shy to really wander around and talk to everyone, you'll have a bad time. If you're reasonably social and not too much of a troll, you'll catch someone's eye and end up screwing.

People will be really nice to you when you're there, but I think most people are really disappointed when they see the same people a few days later and they pay no attention to them whatsoever.

of the one hundred people going, 90 will be no shows.

If word gets around, 90 more people will crash the party to make up for it.

I have never been to a party where I was surrounded by 20 black people (American), but I have a feeling the situation would be A LOT different than yours.

However, I've been to a shit load of college house parties. In general (and doesn't apply to all parties), if it's a decent party, there will be a lot of booze, lots of hot women, and some kind of music that you'll hate but can dance to. There will be people standing around slowly sipping from a cup not talking to anyone, and there will be couples/hook-ups grinding up against each other to whatever urban hip-hop beats happen to be popular that week.

Unless you're extremely confident and already experienced with women, you probably won't hook up with anyone... but you might get a number or two. All the girls worth dating are going to be sitting on a couch in some corner guarded by 5 of her girlfriends who you have to strategically "break" through to get to the prize. Once you do, her friends will in turn give you a nasty look for A) ignoring them B) hitting on their

friend whom they failed to protect.

However, if you succeed in breaking the ice and get the girl to smile and laugh, her friends will instantly follow suit and smile and be friendly to you. There's about 800 other factors that are taking place here, but that's a whole other topic.

The party will only be a fun time if YOU make it into a fun time. Fun is different for everyone, so it's up to you to figure out how to get the most out of that party.

well, if they're fairly well off, then there will probably be lots of alcohol, crap weed, sluts and pills. if they're not, then you're probably headed for a night of cider, stds and supermarket vodka- not to say that the rich sluts don't sport any nasty bugs either.

if you really want to go, then just loosen up quick and be freindly. don't be all timid like you don't know anyone, just be confident and fun

I remember I didn't go to a proper party until I was 15, and in the end, it's just a party... I can't really describe it beyond that!

Bunch of people in a house, usually getting intoxicated, a distinct lack of adults, the odd few being sick in the toilets/garden, "hooking up", lots of socialising and laughter.

Just go, see how people are, find people to hang with, and drink drink drink and move around the party. As everyone has said... the rest just follows

Yea, I've been to lame ass parties where there's 45 guys and 8 girls, and those 8 girls all showed up with a guy, and everyone just stands around with their friends drinking shitty beer. But I've also been to and hosted many awesome parties, not all of which had to involve sex, though of course, the best ones did.

I don't know about over there, but here a good way to get in to the swing of things is to play a drinking game with people. Beerpong, asshole, flip cup, etc are all popular. It's also a nice gesture to bring a six pack of your own beer, and then maybe suggest getting a game going.

One party which sticks in my mind consisted of....

Everyone there walking round with either a six pack of beer, or a bottle of vodka,or both.

4 couples having sex in the same bed almost straight after eachother.

Fruit was cella-taped to the ceiling.

ALL the cereal in the house was used as confetti.

I woke up wearing a tie die t-shirt, which i didnt have when i fell asleep..... on the floor....

And finally, my friend got Cockslapped by some mad drunk!!!

What sick things I saw.

Yeah, it's some rich bitch, and most of the girls going are pretty hot. I'm pretty sure there'll be more girls than boys. I'm a shit dancer, but I'll work on that before the weekend.

I plan to get drunk, not to the point of being smashed, just enough to lose my inhibitions. I am not a lightweight at all compared to people my age, but I'm only just turning 15.

here are some party instructions for you,

Step 1:

find whoevers house it is and greet them. make sure to thank them in advance for a good time and offer you services to clean up whenever he/she needs it. this just gets you in good standings and you wont get kicked out.

Step 2:

assuming you are a guy, go up to each guy and greet them. A simple "Hey, man my name is ____, whats up?" will suffice. This is a very important step. I'll hint on it later.

Step 3:

Start going after the chicks. Your biggest fear is probably whether or not she is single and/or what you are going to say. You always need a plan. I walk up to them and say in a joking tone "I cant believe you didn't say hi to me yet." make sure you hug them when you do it. then i tell them my name usually followed by a "I cant belive you dont know who i am." this opens up conversations for me to talk about the sports i play as well as asking her what she likes to do.

Step 4:

after about 5 min of convo ask her for her number, just say somethin like "we need to party more often, lemme get your number." your playin the odds here, if she says no go somewhere else if she says yes then your good.

Step 5:

ask her to be your beer pong partner. all partys have beer pong. its a good way to flirt a little more and get a little touchy feely.

Things to be aware of:

Boyfriends-

it happens.

sometimes the chick your hitting on has a boyfriend that is at the party. its a good thing you said hi to him as you walked in. if not he would kick your ass on the spot. since you were nice to him he will now polietly tell you to "fuck off"

cops-

it happens.

realize how drunk you are.

not very- run

very- hide

the penalty for drinknig and drinking and trying to run are pretty much the same.

party goals-

i always make my party goals 5 guys numbers and 2 chicks number. haha i know you all think im gay but no it aint like that. if your in a hostile environment hang with the guys for a lil bit. just talk to them and suggest that you should 'party more often' get a few numbers. its a good gesture and might save your ass if something bad were to happen.

things to never do at a party

- never touch anyones wallet under no circumstances, even if your just moving it over

- never touch anyones phone, ive seen so many fights start cuz someone thought there phone was getting jacked.

-dont wander around the house, people think your trying to rob them. if you wanna get with a chick ask the host if theres any where you can go.

-dont pass out there if you know you cant, always ask before hand

and for the love of god if your drunk do not drive home.

call a sober buddy or get a taxi, they wont rat you out to the cops.

yeah above posters summed it up pretty good. I was actually at a pretty sick party last night(spring break), it was nice out, and the whole thing was outside. Everybody's rich around here, so our houses are great.Unfortunately, since some fucking idiots starting fighting in the street, the cops showed up, and I had to hop 2 fences and run a block to my car. And I was SO close to hooking up with this fine girl. W/e, I'll see her next week.

Things to remember:

-have a plan with your friends of where to run when the cops come(honestly, they probably will)

-if you smoke, do it out back

-no matter what you do, stay off the front lawn, because that's where the cops go first

-tell people to shut up if too loud, help out the host as much as you can. If a girl is drunk, offer to give her a ride home if she needs it.

-have like 3 drinks, first a beer, then find some people doing shots and ask if you can join in. Drinking together=instant friends. Best way to meet people in my opinion.

-stay away from girls you know well, and that go to your school, 99% chance you won't get with them because they have a reputation.

-if you wanna be a dick hook up with a totally smashed chick. Look for a tipsy one, they're hornier trust me.

-MOST IMPORTANT: do not get too drunk. I don't know your tolerance, but if you are looking for a girl limit it to three drinks so you can drive her if need be. Besides, everyone hates "that drunk kid", a label that will stick if you aren't careful

Well if theres people out back smoking, go talk to them and smoke with them. It's like a sub-culture, and it'll get you some friends, especially if you share weed/squares.

It's simple, bring someone you're friends with, get a thirty rack of some good beers/ a liter of good liqour, and then just chill and drink. You said there is a shit load of people there so you are bound to talk to someone for a while. If a girl comes up, just act as if she's on your time, however don't be a complete prick. If she's cool ask her to sit and have a few beers/ some liqour and just talk to her for a bit. Once she gets liqoured up, then move in for the kill. there are a shit load of routes to take with this, but i'm not goning to explain them asuming you know them.

P.S. If you plan on getting laid, don't get plastered, just get buzzed. Girls don't like slobbering drunks.
