She broke up with me, and I had a fit of joy. It was ironic. We were happy, having a normal relationship, and now she decided to leave, and I am HAPPIER. I can't understand why. Why would I get this feeling from this situation I ask myself?

The answer is no.

If I were in that situation, I'd feel like a train just hit me and knocked me into a steaming pile of shit. I'd probably drink more, my emotions would be greatly amplified (sadness, anger, etc) and I would feel lost.

But I'd get over it, feel free again and go out and have fun, waiting until the day she wanted me back.
