So there's this girl, who i want to ask out but i've never really spoken to, and i have been in other classes with her in previous semesters (i'm in highschool, senior) but i've always been too shy i guess to talk to her.

I only see her once a day because she's in one of my classes, and she's on the opposite side of the class also.

My question is, how should i approach her? What would i ask her?

Just go up to her after class and start a conversation, invite her to some group gathering/party and get to know her/ask her out exclusively there.

i dont really know the people she hangs out with, we're in different kinds of 'groups' i guess

i hang out with the opposite kind of people that she hangs out with, so if i invited her to a party that i'd go to, she wouldnt know anyone there/ of it to begin with

get introduced to her...

just talk to her about the class, ask questions , compliment her on something like her outfit or whatever..

just man up and do it, sheesh

its not that hard I was in a different group and had a "popular" girlfriend. Just go over to her say hi hows it going and start getting a conversation going. If it feels that things are going ok maybe ask for her email/msn or whatever. If things are going really well maybe ask her out for a green tea/coffee whatever. Get over your shyness its meaningless

I'm getting a lot better at these kinds of things lately.

There's this new girl the place that I work, and all she does is walk around and fix stuff on the shelf, so I just asked her a few questions about her job in passing, and then once I just said. "You don't really have to do anything, right?" She laughed and said, "Not really." So I said, "Ok, let's talk then." So I just stocked the shelves and we talked. It was cool. You just need enough confidence so that you look like you're doing something you'd normally do, i.e. chatting with somebody you don't know. Just calm down, because it's really not that weird for them, so it shouldn't be weird for you.

The problem I have now is that lots of girls want to "hang out" and I want to skip that bullshit and take them on dates to really get to know them. But I fear they might think it too forward.

I miss the way in highschool everyone would associate with a group of a dozen or so people.

It simplified life.

And then complicated it again afterwards.

If you've "never really spoken" to her... why would you prefer to ask her out over any other hot chick?

Just ask her to get coffee or something sometime. Hangout with her a couple times show her that you have an interest in her and depending on how she responds either ask her out on a date or move on.

You'll be going to college in the fall (hopefully). More girls, better atmosphere. I admit to having a few muses in highschool, but college is where it's at. So don't sweat it, go in there like you have nothing to lose. After you graduate, the next time you'll probobly see her is at your 10 or 15 year class reunion.

Approach her group, not her.

If you win her friends over you win her over.

Play a bit hard to get teh first 5 mins, she'll be like "wtf, I'm hot! Why is he talking to my uglyass friends!?"
