Ok...I am getting nervous because this is the first time I am going out with this girl that likes me. I never get like this, but this is the first girl who is a "15" on my 0-10 scale of hottness, I mean I thought she was several points out of my league and I have high standards.

Normally, I would just pay for myself in a similar situation, but I am loosing my brain right now because I still am in shock that she likes me back. This is the girl that you typically will see with model physique men.

Anyways...first time out to dinner...pay for myself or for both of us?

Offer to pay for the both of you. If she refuses, then just pay for yourself.

Some women don't like when guys pay for the entire bill because then they think that the guy is expecting something in return

try saying something like

"I guess your expecting me to pay for this whooole thing arent you?"

Make it a joke, so she doesnt think your actually interested in paying for it all.

Dear God, finally! I've found someone on Totse that actually knows a little something about girls! Please, please, please!!!! I like to pay for people, but sometimes people don't want to be paid for.

thats what i have been told too.

so dont worry about it until the check gets there. offer to pick up the whole thing, personally i enjoy to pay so usually i'll bring my check card and just have them throw the whole bill on there just to make it simple. but if she says she wants to pay for hers dont be stubburn just let her pay.

Pay for both

Good advice, I tend to do this as well. Most wont insist a third time if their just being polite.

It all depends - usually, if you asked her out it is polite to offer to pay. If you both agreed to meet somewhere as friends, then you should either pay seperately, or pay it all with a joke about the next meal being on her.

Mabey let her buy drinks if that is seperate from the meal.....

Always pay for her, but if she's a radical feminist she may not want to be paid for. Pay for her anyway, in a playful way. She'll be amused more than irritated and it'll make you look sweet. If you're too unsure to do that, then let her pay for herself.

Some girls like a free ride. If she's just trying to get a free meal without putting anything out, then I'd say it isn't worth paying for both heads. I'd pay for both on the first date. But don't always cover both ends of the check.

I generally go with the "whoever initiated the date should offer to pay" rule. Still do it with my boyfriend. If I suggest we go out for lunch, I'll pay, unless he wants to. Sometimes we split it.

Since it is a first date though, pay for both. If she offers to pay for herself, decline, if she insists (not "are you sure?" but "I'll pay for myself") then you split it.
