My favorite part:

" Building a Toyota Prius causes more environmental damage than a Hummer... the Prius is partly driven by a battery which contains nickel. The nickel is mined and smelted at a plant [that] has caused so much environmental damage to the surrounding environment that NASA has used the ‘dead zone’ around the plant to test moon rovers. The area around the plant is devoid of any life for miles."

Thoughts?

that study was released last year and completely ripped to shreds. it was just a huge circle jerk with bad maths and flawed assumptions.

any reporter who picks it up and writes a story on it needs a fucking beating.

Any evidence to support those claims?

I'm glad it scares you enough to threaten violence.

So much for freedom of speech...

there still might be the thread floating around. do a search.

otherwise google it, or better yet, read the report yourself and apply some critical thinking. it is flawed to even the most casual reader.

I usually disagree with about 90% of the things that are the mainstream here, but Im gonna say that the resources are flawed. Im not saying that everyone should go buy a Prius, just that if you want to post something, make sure it is correct. If the op wants to prove that Im wrong, Ill edit my post, but until then, get your facts straight.
