Default Religion is an outdated form of government, social order and control.

SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY your imaginary friend is as real as th easter bunny. Rid yourself of your addiction. Religion is a dependency that can be treated. Religion served it's purpose long time ago, and has done much more harm then good. Use your head, it's ok to be alone and think for yourself don't be scared and enjoy life, when its done its done. Plus if you believe in Christianity then you have only 32.9% (1.7 billion) of being right slightly better then non believers who are at 21.6% So I guess Christianity is a logical choice. Then agian the difference between all the religions and non believers, is if you are religious look at all the time you fucking wasted doing useless rituals. Not to mention all the people that died in the name of god. Don't be confused all religions promote hatred for a majority. Anyways the point of this thread. Fucking have some fun, do some drugs, fuck some bitchs, you don't have to be a fag to stick it in an ass.

Nonbelievers: (1.1 billion) 21.6%

Islam: (880.6 million) 17.4%

Hinduism: (663.5 million) 13.1%

Buddhism: (311.8 million) 6.1%

Chinese religions: (172.3 million) 3.4%

Others: (167.5 million) 3.4%

Tribal religions: (92 million) 1.8%

Judaism: (18.2 million) 0.3%

There's more to life than hedonism. Most people believe because they need comfort or meaning in their lives and don't know how to accomplish anything in the real world. But it is true that it is easy to use people's needs to control them.

Believing something because it is the most popular choice has little to do with logic.

I didn't say that the earlier where the only things to life. I just gave some examples of how people limit themselfs for something that could or could not be true. As appose to something that is absolutely true. The fact that you swam out of your dads dick into your moms vagina and now you are a live and living.

I would say religion is a lot like alcohol or weed. It's good in moderation and can be lot of fun and happy times, but most people take it too far and fuck things up. Like blowing the crusade, the witch trials, the holocaust, 9/11. These people believed in ideals, such as a religion lets say and acted on it. I am not saying that people wont slaughter each other either way, but we can start by eliminating one of the major causes.

I was talking from a statistical stand point.

Since there is no correlation between popularity and accuracy, even from a statistical standpoint it is not logical.

Religion skyrockets the human population. Less worries, more children. Religions war, weaker populations are crushed.

Looking at humanity as an organism, religion is pretty sweet.
