Breath
Now, I never usually notice other people's breath, but I'm extremely self concious about mine. I find myself buying lots of gum, and checking my breath all the time.
The problem is, I can never tell when it's bad. And even after I've just chewed a piece of gum, I'm still paranoid. I really do feel that it hinders my social performance.
Incidentally, the best way I have found to check my breath is to do a french inhale.
I don't know, discuss bad breath.

get over it. i've hooked up with chicks who hate cigarettes, like 5 minutes after smoking in front of them, and never got a complaint about my breath.

Same as 'French Smoking' I guess. Exhale smoke from mouth instead of inhaling it and then drew it up through nose...sorta reverse waterfall.
BAck in the day it was the utlitmate in sexy chic for 'Bad Girls' who smoked, to do.

Re: Breath
i'm also aware of my breath. i don't notice anyone else's, but i keep listerine pocketpacks in my wallet/purse, gum somewhere in my bag and strawberry mentos. i find that keeping a bottle of water with me all the time is good too, because if you brush your teeth and then drink water regularly it's pretty hard to get bad breath.
no one's ever commented about it (other than my boyfriend saying i taste minty when i brush my teeth right before going to bed), so there's no reason for me to be self conscious about my breath. the thing is, i'd hate it if someone thought i had bad breath and didn't want to tell me, so i avoid the situation entirely.

Re: Breath
I'm sure your breath smells prefectly fine. Is there some reason that it wouldn't?
A person can usually taste when they have bad breath, can't they?

Re: Breath
I dunno. Paranoia.
Marla Singer does it in Fight Club when she's in Jack's "cave." (French inhale)

Re: Breath
If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, or a close friend, just ask them periodically.
If you bf/gf is truly honest and trustworthy, he/she will give an honest answer.

Re: Breath
I think the best way to tell if you have bad breath is to lick yourself.
If you lick your wrist (or where-ever) and then smell it 10 or 15 seconds later, it will smell funny if you have bad breath.
Also, I've noticed that not eating for a long time often causes mild bad breath.
