So I've been going out with my boyfriend for over a year now and there's still one huge problem. His mom. She hates me and I'll never understand why.

Just today I called my bf to talk him for a few minutes and his mom picked up telling me he wasn't home. I was about to hang up when she told me she was pissed off at me. I asked her why and apparently it was my fault that he nagged her, which annoyed her, because I asked him to go to a play with me. I was supposed to know that he was grounded and I should never have asked him. I'm sorry I don't exactly know everything and I'm a teenager who wanted company.

But anyway...

She bitched about me all day on the phone at me, to my bf's friend, and then on the phone to my mom who joined in.

Gah! Everything is just so frustrating and I don't know what to do about it. He won't defend me and I'm starting to think he doesn't care, and I have no allies it seems. His mom and my mom are trying to make it so we can't see each other or something now.

Anyone have any idea of what I should do?

Ohhh I've had this problem before... what you should do is bake her something, or bring her flowers or something, and ask her to sit down with you, that you want to work things out... she might nag and bitch at first, but if you express how much you like (love?) her son, and that you want her to like you too, she should soften up. But don't suck up too much, or she'll think you're a brown noser... which is worse than her thinking you're a... whatever she thinks you are now.
