My ex girlfriend broke up with me a year and a half ago. Ive never been able to get over her.

Same situation. 4 years. I've had other relationsips since then, they're just not the ones I really want to be in.

Edit: At this point I'm not really sure if I actually like her or just have some sort of limerance that I really can't get rid off. And I'm not really to worried about it. It's not really been negatively affecting my love life.

I was pretty hung up on an ex for about a year, but luckily was able to get some resolution when she started dating again.

Now I'm with my new girlfriend, saw her last night and y'know. I really want to see her again soon.

Been 9 months. I still get all fucked up inside about her when I drink.

Considering I drink every day, it's a bad trip.

About 3 years. She was the only girl i ever loved. She was my everything, and she broke up with me on our 1 year anniversary. It really tore me up, and still some days when you just have those nostalgic feelings, the thought of her brings me down so much sometimes.

Girls seem to leave me disillusioned, untrusting and misogynistic more so than they leave me hung up on them as individuals. My reaction is rarely "oh they're so perfect noones like them" it's always more "wow it seems like all women suck".

It'sa not so bad. I have friends that love me, an internet full of porn, a healthy body and my youth. Women are not everything.

meh i moved to dallas because of her now im living back in tyler under the same roof as her, try living under the same house knowing its not gonna happen again >.>

not quite living up to your username...

Its only been a few months for me, and I know for sure that getting over her will not be a quick task. We were going out for three years, and I knew I would marry her. She was the greatest thing that ever happened to me and she did everything for me. She was a good girl, natural beauty, didn't need make up, she liked the music I liked, she would play video games with me, and we could just lay around together all day and still be happy.

Shes the reason I stayed in school, went to college, and basically tried to make something for myself.

Now... I am quitting college after this semester because I have to get as far away from this place as I can, I haven't told anyone because I don't want them to know. I have lost all interest in anything I really cared about, and I have tried to date, but whenever I click with someone or feel myself getting close to them I always end up cutting myself off from that person. I don't want to but I do. I don't want to be with her again, but I know I cannot stop loving her, I knew she was right. I used to be straight edge, and now I try to drink any chance I get because that is the only time I actually relax and forget about it for awhile. I no longer care what I do anymore and really will try almost any drug once. I just want to forget because I don't want her anymore, but I know I need her.

It's alright though, she has a new boyfriend and its hilarious. She is miserable almost everyday and she has been abandoned by most of her friends. A lot of people just laugh at her and wonder what was she thinking, and what is she thinking now. She completely changed now that we broke up, and it was definitely for the worst. She knows she misses me, and she knows she cant go back. Oh well; this is long enough already.

She's one of my best mates exes... We got very close, I got her to come out of the closet, we were together for a matter of days before she left me for some bitch in a bunny costume... no joke. I'd known her and basically fallen in love with her for years before then, since before she dated my mate.

3 weeks 2 days and about 3 hours. give or take an hour

I seem to be agreeing with your post the most. Ive also been with a few girls since the break up, but not sure if i really wanted to be in them.

There is a girl who i dream about sometimes, I have a gf though. But if I see this girl i never talk to her, as PUAs will know you should never approach a girl directly.
