For me it's usually "I love you" to "I hate you and never want to talk to you again" in about 2 months after a breakup..

I don't get this shit. It takes alot for me to hate someone I once loved. A hell of alot. I mean sure, you breakup, shit is over, whatever...but it's knowing the person absolutely despises you then remembering nice moments that always gets to me. The loneliness I can deal with, hell, even the girl seeing other guys I can understand...but I find it difficult to reconcile the love and the hate.

Anyone ever read portrait of Dorian Gray? I wish I could see a portrait how ugly a womans soul is right off the bat...but instead you just get intoxicated with how they look in the flesh.

My problem is the one statement you made, "This post is sort of emo". From what I can see emo has ruined PEOPLES ability to be sad or depressed. Being sad is a natural part of being human just as happy and anger and all the other emotions are. I'm tired of people thinking that when ever they feel sad they're being emo. Emo kids are the ones that force themselves to be sad for attention. I'm obviously not an emo-specialist but like, is it impossible to feel sad now a days?

i know what you speak of kind sir.lol.and yeah,it totally sucks.you despise that person with everything you have and then think of good times,the best times you have ever had and cant help but feel...i dont even know the word...melancholy?but the worse part for me is(since im a kinda jealous guy)is for a couple of months afterwards seeing them with another guy really pisses me off.even with girls i didnt love.

Okay, go out with friends and make new memories. Dwell on the new ones and not the old ones. That should make your situation better. Don't think about what your ex is doing, there is a reason they are your ex and you no longer need to deal with them in your life.

shit i feel the same way, i remember the nice times, but i also think of how she ripped me up. it makes me sad/pissed off/a bunch of other shit. i hate it, and on top of that i have to see her everyday. i know what you mean.
