We walked back to the park we were in before and cracked the rum open. we got about 2/3rds or the way done the bottle and the lagoon monster walks up, complaining because we ditched her. She steals my rum and drinks it all. Me and Cokie start talking and completely ignoring her.

Then Cokie gets a call on his cell phone... it's his mom and she's mad because he was supposed to be home an hour ago. So he leaves. I light a cigarette and smoke it down halfway, Me and the lagoon monster sat on the bench in complete silence. I handed her my smoke, said bye, walked to my car and drove home.



I was only alone with her for a maximum of 5 minutes. How do I convince my girlfriend that I'm not lying... because I'm not. And If i can prove to her that i'm telling the truth my Gf is gonna beat her into the ground.

My only idea is asking this girl if I was wearing a condom... My girlfriend knows that I never have sex without a condom. But still that's only a 50/50 bet, and if that fails I'm out of ideas

I agree with you when you say that without love and trust there is no relationship. But in this sense, the relationship between friends is also similar, although the love is a different kind. But one can't pin one relationship against another so easily when put in oposing situations.

Trust, I do believe may not be developed over time, but is however strengthened. In most cases relationships with friends have been established longer so it's easier to go against the trust in relationships with lovers.

I think both Jack and Azalie are wrong, in that trust is something that is as individual and unique as a fingerprint. Each person trusts differently... with some you must earn it, others give it freely until it is broken... and simply because you believe it should be a gift does not mean that everyone can give it as such. Some people simply don't trust that easily, either can't or won't.

I know that doesn't help the OP, I'm sorry but I really don't know what to tell you. I just had to toss my two cents in there.
