When it comes to asking girls out and anything else in that general area (besides sex), this is what you tell yourself.
I heard this a couple years ago.

well alot of guys on here I've noticed are afraid of being turned down. JUST GROW SOME BALLS AND TALK TO HER! Rejection is a normal part of human life just accept it and then don't give a fuck about it and you will be better at it. The guys who get the most girls are the ones who are rejected the most. i think alot of the kids on here are not exactly the most popular kids in their school or whatever...so they have faced rejection before for whatever reason...and dont want to SUBJECT themselves to rejection again.but as someone above me said...its natural to be rejected by SOMEONE SOMETIME and its part of life,thats its gonna happen anywhere,anytime by anyone...or it wont...the quicker you learn that the quicker you can become a more functional human being.
dont fear rejection,embrace...and move on.
