words from the Sexually Inept And Socially Horibble.
I decided to post a sentence that has been going through my head recently.
This has been boiling in me for a week or so. It is from the play "A Raisin in the Sun"
There is only one feeling between a male and female.
Now heres a bit of background:
I got bitched out for agreeing with this, with some thought though I tired to back up my claim, saying that in esence with the core reason of procreation and continuing the species a man and woman really only have one mutual feeling.
I am NOT counting deep seated hate from some internal or external force. (i.e. War of the Roses)
Not only did none of the other people (still living in a land where princes come sweeping young maidens off thier feet to a castle) agree with me, but a metrosexual prick had to go and pull one of the "sensitive guy" lines to try and win all the young ladies fair hearts.
I called him on it.
Besides this, I just really couldn't express what I was trying to explain. I mean, yes there is more than one "feeling" but this is like a literary term.
I need more opinions.

I can't think of any way there would be only one feeling. I assume that "feeling" is the wrong term and what you/they are really trying to get at is the old idea that you can't just be friends with a member of the opposite sex, because everyone really wants to fuck everyone else. I don't agree with that, either.

Yea, thats the thing, its just the use of the word. I can't explain the real meaning because of my lack of vocabulary.
