So I had a girlfriend from oct 06 until jan 07. For the vast majority of time there was 2600km of ocean between us but I did see her for a few days and was planning on moving there as soon as I could.

Now I was/am pretty poor. I spent all the money I had to go over and see her. I even had to sell my beloved bike (http://tinyurl.com/yrg5of) for way too cheap to make up the extra cash in time. While I was there I paid for her alot of the time, bought her dinner, etc. I never begrudged her this.

So I return back to God's own country, and November rolls around (my birthday is on the 27th). She makes it clear she'll be sending a present. I am happy. I like birthdays. And presents. And recieving things in the mail from girls I love.

It's now march and it's still not here. Appareantly there was some screwup with the mail and it got returned to her. Instead of trying to resend it, it appareantly just sat in her room, and today she informs me she has now opened my parcel and is using my gift. She has the Audacity to say she'll give it to me if I return to her city (we're now broken up).

It only really hit me today how angry this makes me. I put all this energy, money and effort going to go see her and treating her well when I was there. It was me that was going to move there, not vice versa. Yet she couldn't even fucking mail me something for my birthday. I gave so much with that relationship and recieved jackshit all.

What a waste of effort. I am way too generous when I have faith in someone, and I obviously shouldn't have had faith in her. She played me like a drunk negro playing a harmonica.

On my bday i was going to go out with her for dinner with the parents, but apparently she somehow didnt fucking know we were gona do that even tho i told her 2 weeks ago, and a couple of days before, and she didnt show up cus she was shopping... never got my present.
