Well, 'tis the season for prom, and for most, less than a month away. I have a few questions for you:

Got a Date?

How'd You ask her?

(Ladies) How'd he ask you?

Any big plans for afterwards?

I currently don't have a date, but I'm thinking of asking this girl on my French trip I'm leaving for in the morning. How does my approach to it sound? The first 5 days we're staying with seperate families. The next 3 days will be in Paris, and on the final night there, we go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. If she's available (I'm in the process of asking her friend), I'm going to ask her to prom at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Good? Bad?

This girl I like named Jackie is my date.

I did a bit of reconnoiter work before hand, determined that the possibility of her saying yes was high, then simply asked her in a class.

Probably go to some party afterwords.

I'm actually a sophomore who's probably going because all my friend are in grade 12. How'd a get a date? A friend of mine said "You should be going to grad, a night to party with your friend before you leave, I'll take you"

I live in a kind of small town, with a school of about 700, so Prom is kind of a big deal around here.

I wouldn't say it's a horrible idea, but I think it's overdoing it quite a bit. It might lead to a bad outcome, depending on if she thinks the prom is as important as you do.

Part of me wants to find a girl to take to prom for my senior year. Small part. I haven't had a proper "girlfriend" all throughout highschool. I got sick of it a while ago and gave up, for the most part. Why would a stupid school sponsored dance make that any different?

the day of my school's prom, i should be touring Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama. I'm from Nebraska. i'm only a sophomore. the only person who could get tickets that i would go with is going to Alabama with me and some other people. i wouldn't be the one to ask in that case.

we won(or at least currently in first place) pimp my prom on power 106 . this is my junior year, so its not really that important, but because power 106(a pretty big radio station) is hosting it, i'll go. it'll have plenty of popular artist, hopefully .

Bad idea, do not go to a prom with your girlfriend if you're 20 years old. My dad did that when he was 21 and dating an 18-year-old, and it was one of the most awkward experiences of his life.

After he matures, he will realize that he wasted the first ~25 years of his life and and several hundred thousand dollars on worthless pursuits and will sink into a deep depression and have a midlife crisis.

I'm in grade 11 (or a junior I think? as Americans say), and going with my boyfriend who's in grade 12 (senior year).

We were at a party halfway drunk, and talking to this girl who's a friend of his... I'd never met her before, but the three of us were having a conversation and it turned to their prom. In the middle of one of her sentences she turned to me and said, "are you coming to our prom?" Before I could answer he looked at me, then at her, and said "Yes." and that was that.

I'm way more excited for the after party though. 4 days at a beach a couple hours away with hundreds of people my own age... it's gonna be fucking sick.

I dont think prom is taken that seriously here in england, I didnt go to mine I went riding with my mates got drunk stoned and did a fire jump. It was a damn good night and from what I heard better than the shitty prom!

dude, i've got no idea what the theme is for Benson. All i know is i will not feel bad for missing out. Our dances consist of rap and hip hop, with people dry-humping (dancing) to it.

We have a formal at the end of school.

I took a stripper that I knew from my physics class in college. I just asked her if she wanted to have drunken limo sex and go to a HS prom all trashed. BTW I graduated early and started college a semester before everyone else.

My prom/school ball isnt for awhile but the plan so far involves myself and 3 of my mates going stag, wearing tailed coats, tophats, with swords at our belts and arriving on horses. Then we're gonna lace the drinks with 100ml of liquid lsd for every litre of drink. Should be fun.
