So I started this new school at the start of last year and right from the beginning I have had my eye on this particular girl.

I lined up for my race. I am an alright swimmer, but I didn't care what I came. Alongside the pool is rows of seats where people can watch/hang out until their race. So guys, how do I approach this tomorrow? Should I go up to her and make a formal apology? Saying it was my mistake and I didn't mean for it to happen? This could give me an excuse to actually talk to her, whether or not it be pathetic, it's still an excuse. I really like this girl and I would like to have some sort of chance with her still..
