We have been seeing each other for maybe 5 months and started getting pretty serious 2 months ago. Up untill about a month ago we had been getting along just fine, no problems. Then came my problems with drugs/drinking and then came her problems with her family going from having everything to having nothing in a matter of days. I had been there for her through all this no matter. As of last night we started arguing about me talking to other girls, and there being something more bewteen me and them rather then just friends specifically two girls that my girlfriend didnt like to begin with. Im pretty stubborn and had figured she was overreacting but it got to the point where I told her I wanted a break. I know this girl really liked me alot and is probably heart broken as we speak but its not like Im going to have another girl anytime soon, we havent hung out much if at all recently with each of busy and we dont really have one day within the next two weeks where are both free to hang out which is another reason I told her I needed a break.

So im sitting here feeling as I have lost my feelings for her though I also feel as if I cant let her go. Any suggestions, should I just give it some time.. try and talk to her as soon as possible or just let it go and see if she comes back..

Think it through, then talk to her about it. I'm guessing that it won't take you long to think about it.

It sounds as if you got defensive and made a mistake.
