Default Condom Questions

Okay, I just have 2 quick questions regarding condoms.

1) Should you apply extra lubricant to lubricated condoms? My girlfriend was nice and wet when we had sex for the first time last Friday, and everything went smoothly with no breakages using lubricated condoms, but with no additional lube of any sort. Would this be an OK practice to continue; just using vagina juice + lubricated condoms?

2) What is a safe place to store a condom? Would a leather wallet be an ok place? I did some research, and some sites say it's ok for it to go in a wallet, but others say it's a bad idea. What about a leather purse? If you put one in a little plastic container (similar to a gameboy cartridge holder) and put it in your pocket would the condom be OK to use safely?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dear lord....

I'm a virgin, but I'm pretty sure they come in a little plastic rapper and they are just fine in there.

If youre doing your job you really shouldnt need the extra lube.

Putting it in a wallet is a bad idea. It should be kept someplace away from heat. Which means that leaving it in your wallet or in a pocket for an extended period of time will cause the latex to start breaking down. Which you DONT want.

If its a short time your pants pockets are find, or in a loose jacket pocket or purse is ok too. You just want to make sure there is nothing sharp nearby that could stab a hold in it.

You aren't supposed to put them in your wallet because of the heat and friction, I think. I'm not quite sure.

You're basically sitting on it all day long.

If you carry it in a gameboy cartridge thing i guess it'd be ok, since it's a hard case, but if you keep it in ur wallet for too long, or ur pocket. friction and heat may tear a small hole in it after a long time so temporarily keeping it in ur pocket/wallet should be ok, but be careful

I was referring to a hard-plastic case for which to prevent squishing, tearing, and puncturing, NOT the squishy soft-plastic package they come in. But I do see the miscommunication on my part.

On another note: Say on a Friday night I put a condom in my wallet and 2-8 hours later we were getting busy. Would my condom be fine in my wallet just for a few hours?

And no additional lube should be needed if I use a lubricated condom and she is nice and wet?

Bump.

Any confirmation on the lubrication issue?

I know it has been said once, but I want to know FOR SURE that my rubber won't snap in action as long as my condom is lubricated and so is my girl.

You can't be SURE. You can be confident.

If your girlfriend is wet, AND you are using lubricated condoms, you will be fine. There chances are very slim that your condom will break due to lack of lube.

There is no 100% guarantee. The only guarantee is abstinance.

You can keep the condom in your wallet a couple hours. Better place would be a purse, or somewhere that doesn't get warm or cold. A drawer perhaps. A little plastic case would prevent it from getting poked by something, but it might not prevent it from getting to warm. I guess it would also depend on the pocket. Cargo pant pockets might be better than tight little jeans. You know?

Well, I don't mean 100% sure that it won't break, but what common practices are.

Knowwuddimean?

And I used a "Trustex" brand condom from the local PP. Should I buy some name-brands or will I be alright with these off-brands?
