cold sores can be transfered to the genitals, but it doesn't become genital herpes. That will only happen if you have genital herpes on your mouth. You do, don't you?

A cold sore is herpes. Yes, it can be transmitted from mouth to genitals. It won't be genital herpes, but it IS still herpes. So..don't.

She can get it too even if you don't have an obvious cold sore. You should go talk to your doctor.

Herpes Simplex 1 is when its with the mouth, Herpes Simplex 2 is when it is on the genitals. It is the same virus, they just classify by where it is at, so yeah, do not go down on this girl unless you want to run the risk.

He knows what he's on about, this is true. It can easily transfer to her genitals and become the dreaded GENITAL HERPES, and from there, if you bang her, you'll get it too.

It's not the same virus, they're different strains. Nobody classifies purely on where something is found. Both can cause both genital and oral herpes, but the vast majority of oral herpes cases are from HSV-1 and vise versa with HSV-2. Transmission of HSV-1 to the genitals is possible though, so it's best not to go down on her (it's just courtesy). Can't believe any girl would let you do that anyway, ick.
