Blagh, Prom.
So, a friend of mine has called "dibs" on a girls that we both were considering asking.
It's been 3 weeks since then, and he still hasn't asked. I said he had 1 more day to do it, or I was swooping in. I was hoping, whereas he's a more attractive guy, and knows more girls, he would let me take her, realizing how interested I was.
Well, he said he'll ask her tomorrow. I'm thinking, maybe I'll just ask her before he does?
I mean, a few of her friends have hinted to me that I should, but that could all be in my head.
I know that if I asked her tomorrow before my buddy, it would be an asshole thing to do. This results in me asking Totse 2 questions.
Do you think my pal will care a whole lot, or let it slide?
Do you think I'd have a genuine chance of getting a yes, or is this all gonna blow up in my face?
any help is appreciated, sorry for sounding like a fag.

Re: Blagh, Prom.
Well it really does depend on the guy, if he'fs more of the guy that thinks girls are just possesions since he called "dibs" on her, and has a lot of female friends around him, then hell if you really like her go for it, just think of his personality and social standings. if he can almost get anyone else, go for it. he has plenty

Ahhh Spring must have indeed sprung with its usual sickening regularity and S&A blooms with prom-threads by american teenage virgins all torn between having a date that strokes their egos or getting laid.

don't be a jerk, because if she says no, and then he asks her and she says yes, then she'll tell him what happened and he'll get all butt hurt blah blah blah

At least I'm not wasting my time on Totse instead of getting that promotion that would enable me to take my family on vacation!

I think you might have me confused with someone who has to work for a living.

Re: Blagh, Prom.
I didn't even bother going to my prom. There pointless in my opinion. The question here is do you like said girl?; or is she just the best you guys could ask out? cus you could just get another date. ITs not that big of a deal.
If shes still available then you should have a decent chance that she'll say yes to either of you, so ask first.

Re: Blagh, Prom.
You have the option of not going to prom and saving your cash. Just have a friend who went to inform you of where the after parties are at. There will most likely be drink and fun-seeking chicks. You could use that money you saved to take out the nice lookin' gal you'll meet out to a nice breakfast.

Re: Blagh, Prom.
I'm going. Hell, I might even go with a chick if she doesn't find someone better by then. It's better to go to prom and have a shitty time than to never go at all and spend your life wondering how it would have been. Hell, you only get one chance.
