Most women consider rape to be a fate worse than death. The media has them convinced that walking down the driveway after 9pm will get you raped. I don't see what the huge problem is. I don't mind being the good guy who walks a girl home. If you do, you make me sort of sad.

Maybe she meant she's scared to travel to the library alone and not that she's scared she'll get raped in the library.

There was actually a rape a few months ago where a girl was raped while leaving a libaray at her university campus. Infact, that area has been a hotspot for sexual assualts, both in and just out of the libaray.

It's a way for them to get attention. Like when they leave your house and ask you to watch them walk to their car if it's parked on the street or something.

Even if there's a small risk, there's still a risk, and I personally think that if a girl wants to be accompanied somewhere because of that risk, especially if it's dark or darkening or not in the best area, she should be. The chance of a women getting raped on any given day is like 10000 to 1 at the most, but the chance of a bitch thinking she gonna get raped is more like 1 to 1, thus showing that women are infact the sexual deviants and should just stfu, stop moaning, and quit being so entirely feeble. My post wasn't a joke. I thought that it was common knowledge that libraries aren't the safest of spots.

People hook up in the libraries here every now and then; the asiles give them enough privacy, I guess.

Quite a few assaults and homeless people are hiding around the library. It's warm and there's free entertainment for the homeless people. It's one of the jobs of most librarians to watch for these types of things. I have yet to see very many librarians capable of doing anything besides calling the police. For the rapists and molesters, they have to assume that they bet on people at a library not being able to defend themselves well.

It's true. The library is the best source of an amusement for a homeless person.

I was knocking on some girl's apartment door and didn't get a response.
