First Date
I've got my first date tonight, anyone have any advice? She's liked me for a long time, and we finally decided to go out.
Is it considered bad taste to try for a kiss on the first night? If not, how should I go about doing it?
We're going to the movies, i suppose I'm expected to do the whole "arm around the girl" thing?

Re: First Date
If your cuddling and your moths happen to be close together give her a kiss, or one thing I've always done when unsure is ask them "Can I kiss you?" awkward I know, but I've never had a girl say no, and just be yourself chill and if you feel you didn't move very smooth, laugh a little at it.

Re: First Date
Ok, ig you like each other, do what feels right...that should probably include putting your arm around her and kissing her...I never said making out, but hell if it's comfortable enough, go for it.
Yeah, but really, if you both like each other, why not kiss her? or hold her? Right?

Re: First Date
I've always liked the line "Do you like surprises" If she says yes kiss her, if she says no kiss her anyway it works about 100% of the time I've tried it. I've used it about 30 times....

Re: First Date
Well the date went well, we both had a good time and talked for a while afterwards, but I was too much of a pussy to kiss her at the end. We were in her car anyway, it would have been awkward to lean over.
Next time I'll take her for a walk by the lake, we can sit on a bench and talk, then I'll plant one on her while were on the bench.
It's such a good plan in my head, I know I'll freak out and fuck it up anyway (this will be my first kiss too, I'm almost 18 btw)

Re: First Date
Lol, what ive found that helps, is if you're unsure, or just plain nervous about kissing her, show it a little. Girls (some of them, not all mind you) like when a guy shows hes a bit vulnerable, (not the oh my god please dont leave me i LOVE YOU!!!!!! YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME IM NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, vulnerable, the shy kind of vulnerable) And just ask "Can i kiss you?", that or another thing that has worked for me in the past, when their talking to you, (make sure it isnt anything you're expected to remember)act like you're pre-occupied, when they finally say "hello? you listening to me?" say something along the lines of "oh sorry, i was just thinking of how much i wanna kiss you right now" and if she smiles, go for it.
Meh, whatever, second post ftw :O

Re: First Date
I guess I'll have to do this at some point, she's hot and really nice and I bet she has a ton of other guys chasing her. Is it better to wait until a later date, or just go for it when we hang out next.
Because today, for example, we hung out most of the afternoon. It wasnt an "official" date or anything.
We seem to do this a lot.

Re: First Date
Dean: Any advice? You know, this being our first big date and all.
Brock: Yeah.
[Brock grabs the corsage Dean is holding and throws it out the window]
Dean: No?
Brock: No. And don't pull out her chair or kiss her hand or anything like that. It's kinda dorky. Just be yourself. Wait, here. [he pulls out his wallet and hands it to Dean] Take this. It's got plenty of money in there and it doesn't have a cartoon bee on it. Don't let them pay for anything and if you end up going to like a movie or something, you call me on the two-way, okay?
Hank: What about me? Any advice to help me to score with my mystery date?
Brock: Yeah, don't say score or anything close to 'mystery date' in front of her. And don't do that uhh, 'do you like sea food' joke either.
Hank: Can do! Gosh, she would totally know that joke already.
