I was a party this passed Friday. I met a girl, we talked, we flirted. Everything went well,s he was funny, she thought i was funny. We went off to the bedroom to 'listen to good music'. If it weren't for the resulting cock block of my metal loving friend, i would of fooled around with her. I had neglected to get her number, but we have mutual friends and it was given to me today at school.

The problem here is she's 18 in a month, and i'm 15.

I'm a fairly traditional, and think that the guys should be older or the same age, as well as taller, stronger and all that shit. I am in no way sexist, though. Her number sits here, and I'm curious as to what would happen if we dated.

She knew my age at the party, and said she didn't care, but it bothered me a bit. I can't drive, buy alcohol, go to the bar. Hell, in a few months she'll be done school and be thinking about college.

My question is; What's everyone's opinion on a younger guy dating an older girl? Any experiences? I wouldn't call her right away anyway, because i wouldn't go on a date during the week, so I'm taking my time to think it over.

She's probably not looking at you as boyfriend material.

Because realistically you're still a child, and she's growing into a young adult, whereas you've only really just started adolescents(sp?).

So call her up if you want to fool around, but I wouldn't expect anything more from it.

My boyfriend is younger than me by seven months too. That sort of age gap is a bit more realistic than three years.

Let's take into account that at the time of her saying that your age was not a problem to her, she was most likely intoxicated. I'm going to go out on a limb here and stand by my original statement, when she said 'your age doesn't matter to me' she probably meant 'I have absolutely no qualms about screwing you over, but I don't see you as a potential boyfriend'.

Which at fifteen is I suppose all you want, so go nuts.
