Default Girl from my new school.

I'm thinking that I wanna go for it before I become trapped in the friends zone.

She's friends of some of mine.

Any advice on what I should do?

maybe if you're out with your friends and she's there, ask her if she wants to do something together... she'll be in a comfortable environment and if she says no you can just brush it off hopefully.

alternatively, there's always good ol' murder/suicide.

Stop asking for advice on a site filled with people asking the same fucking questions you are.

Seriously buddy, just ask her the fuck out.

you just need to have the balls to ask girls out and roll with the punches. it's a numbers game at the end of the day; you win some, you lose some.

Yeh I know how you feel. There's nothing I can tell you which is going to make it easy for you. You just have to do it.

You know that when you're old and wrinkly and dying alone that you'll regret not taking every opportunity while you had it. The only question is whether that scares you more than asking the girl out in the first place. Think about that.

Yeah dude, just be straightforward.

"Hey can i talk to you?"

"ok"

"Well i really like you and i wanted to know if you would go out with me"

"oh yes... please give me that fat juicy cock"

or something, i think thats how its supposed to work. :P

no but seriously, best piece of advice ever: she's just a girl. even if she turns you down shes not gonna be mean if you really like her.

But I don't know if I can handle that rejection.

I talked to her at school today.

I found out that she lives down the road from me and none of her friends live near her.

I suddgested that we hang out some time and she said that would be cool.

you're on your way. when you're hanging out, try to judge the vibe. good vibe? go for it, if you have the balls. even if you dont have the balls, a good vibe is good, you just have to act on it soon even if not right away.

Then your half way there.

Just dont do what i did when i asked my gf out. Lol i sounded like such a tit, she said yes though so all's well

For your issue then; hand out with her, just you two and either ask her out then OR invite her over next time ur parents are out to watch some films and at some point put your arm round her, if she doent object then your all good. If she turns to face you when you look at her, that be smoochign time. If she doesnt then turn her chin gently towards you and smoochies. Dont fucking grab her by the throat and shove you tounge down her!

Friends zone doesn't really exist its just a nice way of saying you don't like someone. A lot of guys get hung up on just becoming friends with girls but honestly if they just want to be friends its because they were never interested at all in you.

Dude, its not that hard to ask a girl out, it isnt some huge deal, honestly, if she says no, you move on, become friends with her... ect. That or you can just invite her over to your place sometime and drink with her and see where it goes, im not saying fuck her while shes passed out (ok maybe i am ) Alcohol lowers inhibitions, that way, if you ask her out, and she says no, you wont care as much, if you ask her out and she says yes, you guys get even more drunk and have hot buttsecks. Win win.

That's a fucking great way to get rejected. Just walking up to her and saying that you think she's gorgeous is going to creep her the fuck out. It will not score you any points. And there is no "friends zone". The ladder theory does not apply to real life, stop setting so much to store by it.

Are you sure you're not just grabbing hold of the best excuse to not ask her out because you're afraid?

Don't wait. Unless she said it herself that she likes another guy, make a move.

Otherwise you'll end up waiting several months until you make a move on her, and when you do you'll find out that she found a boyfriend 1-2 months ago.

And that's a thing that will make you hurt yourself, alot.

1. What the hell? Since when does ANYONE get offended or anything alike at someone asking them out? The only bad thing it'll do is boost her ego(which might not be bad), even if she doesn't want to go out with you.

Seriously, why the hell would this screw up your friendship? It won't, unless you try to rape her.

2. If you ask her out and she says "no", the answer would be the same even if she wasn't into someone else. Unless she's really obsessed by this guy.

No, no, no, you ask her if she wants to do something on Friday. Again, society places a lot of pressure on young people to be out doing something cool on Friday nights, so she'll be inclined to agree. Get to her early so she doesn't make other plans first.

Look... You know that sorta sick feeling you get when you're psyching yourself up to ask someone out? THAT IS AS BAD AS IT GETS. Start talking and it's GONE.

It's not that hard; just talk to her alone, ask her if she's doing anything on the weekend. If she's quick, she'll immediately pick up on where you're going with it. If not, just ask it, the dreaded question: [Big breath kiddo]

"Well, do you wanna meet up [insert favoured day here]?"

Got AIM? Even though Yahoo is way better...

Anyway, I just spent most of tonight hanging out with a chick, only to be cockblocked by her period, but all I had to do was pick up the phone and ask if she was doing anything, and ten minutes later we were hanging out. No need for complicated plans and plots, all it takes is a split-second of courage to spit out that one statement. Come on, kid, you can do it.

I have msn but that's it.

I'm thinking about asking her to do something next friday but she has a big social life so the earlier the better.

If you can give me some ideas on what to do and where to take her it would be cool. I want to plan it so we don't get bored and things get awkward if you know what I mean.

Hmmm, let me run down a list of interesting stuff to do:

Movies, always a good idea.

Local fairs, festivals, concerts, and events.

Bowling, might as well get her adjusted to handling balls now.

Golf, if you're competent enough not to get beat up by superior golfers.

Go Karts kick ass, and it'll be a nice change to have her chasing you.

Are there any car shows in town? She may or may not enjoy that.

Go hang out at a local lake and rent a canoe or the like, if you get decent weather.

Irish pub. Nuff said.

School sporting events are good, because you can then turn to her and say "This is boring, lets go hang out in an empty classroom" or something.

Is there a race track near where you live? Girls like big, loud engines.

Basic tips:

If you have a car, pick something a good distance away, and talk enough that she doesn't notice how slow you're driving.

Stay away from malls and other places where she could sucker you into spending a lot of money on her. Best avoid them altogether, you can't trust yourself not to cave in when she's standing right next to you.

Always start with some kind of event or plan, then try to expand from that. For example, after a movie, cruise around town for a bit, go for a walk, or ask if she wants to get something to eat. If all goes well, the event will be perhaps half of the total time you spent together.

If wherever you're going is a good distance away, set things up so you stop for gas along the way. It'll give you a moment to logically collect your thoughts and figure out where you stand.

Above all, don't get infatuated! Maintain a cool head, and try not to show any non-masculine emotions around her. Actually, try not to even feel any non-masculine emotions around her. This will allow you to track how things are going and make decisions on the fly.

Stay in control, don't let her dictate where you go. If she suggests something, either accept the proposal with some small changes you make, or come up with something better.

Wear sunglasses, that way when she gets into the car, you can do that sweet little move where you lower the glasses, look her over, smile, then put them back on and drive off. Also, this helps with decreasing her ability to read your emotions. But don't wear them indoors or when it gets dark, that's just stupid.

On a first date, don't hint toward wanting a relationship. Gauge her reaction and then make a decision about whether to start dropping hints the next day.

Taking a hint from School for Scoundrels, LIE! Since most relationships end up in lies and deceit eventually, it makes a logical place to start. Lie about stuff that can't be proven or disproved. For example, lie about just getting out of a bad relationship, don't lie about having a job because that can come back to bite you. Feel free to embellish whatever stories you tell, within reason.

Speaking of telling stories, keep them brief or engaging. No long build-ups to the entertaining parts, you might lose her interest.

Keep your damn hands off her for now, pervert...

Track down Jackketch and see if he can send some tips your way, he knows much more than I.

Stay within the law, you do not want to be pulled over or worse on a date.

Dear God in heaven, avoid her friends. Nothing will demolish a relationship faster than the involvement of the woman's bitch friends. If possible, never even let them see you.

Do you have a box of CDs or an iPod in your car? If so, hand it to her and tell (don't ask, tell) her to pick something out to listen to. This will let you find some common ground, if possible. Beforehand, get rid of the more outlandish stuff you may listen to, don't want to scare her off by having an iPod full of Napalm Zombies or some shit.

wow, thanks alot dude. I am defiantly going do my best to make this happen just for you spending so much time on this.

The only thing is that I am to young to drive so that's out of the question.

Any advice on what to do in town for example? There isn't much around here but there's a lot of places to walk etc.

Don't worrie about her friends because we go to school together and her friends know that I like her and are rooting for me, lol.

If I tried to keep her intrested in the conversation by telling a stories, what subjects would be good to tell about etc.

Also how would I ask her out in the first place?

If you can't drive, taking the bus works just as well, if you avoid rush hour. Perhaps recruit an older friend to drive you? Anything but getting a ride from parents, that's just lame. Or you could just meet there, it's not as good as going together but still better than being taken by parents.

As for what to do in town, it depends on the kind of town, I'm assuming a midsized city. Try to find a theater near the downtown area and go to a movie, that way there's a bunch of places to walk afterwards. Also, check the newspaper for any cool concerts or free events going on. Try to avoid getting roped into shopping.

As for stories, tell ones that are at least related to the current topic of discussion, or something around you. For example, something that happened in that general area, or somehow relates to what you're talking about. Don't just launch into a story from thin air, until you've gotten to know her. Keep obscenity (both in language and content) to a minimum. If you can't think of something good to say, just ask questions, a good conversation is basically two people taking turns asking questions.

Asking her out in the first place, as we've covered, is a simple exercise of getting a chance while she's alone and asking her if she wants to go out and do something on Friday. Ask her to go to a movie at the aforementioned theater, then let her pick the movie. You can sacrifice that little bit of control for the sake of scoring a first date.

What is your MSN, anyway? I'm afraid you've dragged me in and there's no way I'm leaving this alone now...

So what you're saying is, all this time we spent psyching you up was wasted because she didn't stay single on you? That has got to BLOW man, i'm sorry.

Oh, and someone is inevitably going to suggest murder/suicide, so let me advise against that in advance.

She's had one for a while I think, she just didn't tell anyone. I got drunk last night a told everyone so I'm concerned that she knows I said it to everyone even though I shouldn't know.

If she has a boyfriend already, you don't do anything.

If she's not happy about the relationship she has, she will either break up with him or make it very very clear to you.

If you really want her, I recommend you wait till she doesn't have a boyfriend. Only bad things will happen when you go for someone already in a relationship. (You'll also be a complete asshole if you do it)

Well, if you've gotten to hugging and holding hands then she probably likes you. And about that secret boyfriend - who knows? Maybe if you're nice and charming enough you can win her over. Just go for it, dude.

I give chicks nicknames like that all the time. I can't ever recall getting any bad reactions to it. It's just a compliment, I mean, half the time I say it just to be lettin' her know how great she looks. C'mon man, how many women do you know that don't enjoy being called pretty?

I'm in a similar situation now...

I really like this girl and by the time we got to know each other enough for it to not be wierd to ask her out she got a boyfriend.

The thing is it's not really serious and I've been getting along with her really well the last few days and it's killing me not to ask her out...

But I can't gauge how much she likes her bf and I'm kind of friends with her bf so it would be really akward if I did ask her.

This guy is worthless. He's too much of a pussy, you should all stop psyching him up, he'll probably get rejected anyways. Maybe if we rag on him hard enough, he'll be motivated to do it.
