Well, typically, i had a girlfriend. she left me, i got depressed into drugs and well a few things have come out of this. I've been killin off friendships, i've been goin deeper into drugs, about to start heroin. although i miss her i feel relieved she's not mine anymore. My musical abilities have begun blooming wonderfully and the art section too. so totse, i ask you kindly for advice on how to get over it as you can see im trying drugs as a way. I miss her a lot, and i promised to myself never to talk to her again, but it seems to kill me slowly.

DO not do drugs man, the best revenge is living well, so start going to the gym, quit smoking, start being the best you can be, it'll make you feel good about yourself and about life. It's just not worth it to go in such a downward spiral like that over a woman. I almost went down that path myself for the same reason, but binge drinking for 3-4 weeks straight made me come to the realisation that it's not worth it. Don't do it mate, just live your life.

as much as i love drugs and alcohol, my only true friend, the best advice you'll ever recieve on the subject is to get more involved socially with as many people as possible.

friends can make you feel great, even moreso than drugs, which is really saying something

There's no need, and it sounds like you're not in a good place to keep yourself from getting addicted.

You want a crutch, go out with your friends, drink coffee, and smoke like a chimney.

That works for me, and I've got to deal with clinical depression.

The more you think of her the more the illusion (couldn't find a better word) of her being the one and your all clouds your mind. So what you need and should do is start setting up new relationships, and keep yourself busy (bettering yourself, hobbies, whateva).

Forget what the relationship was like, forget it.. you failed. In the future you'd probably say to yourself "what did I see in that chick", stop killing yourself over this... getting fucked up with alcohol and drugs doesn't show someone you miss them, that's just psycho shit IMO.
