Broke her step-dads jaw...
Last night i was walking over to my gf house. I am fifteen and fairly ingnorant so I entered her parents house without knocking. When i walked in I saw her mom on the floor crying in the corner of her living room. I took two more steps and saw my gf step-dad pinning her against the wall. I am in love with this girl so i absolutely went ballistic, grabbed the coffee pot and smashed it over his head as hard as i could. He dropped her and fell to the floor were I kicked him in the jaw and broke it. I picked up my gf and took her out of the house and back to my place.
So totse, what should i do next. dropping out of school is not an option. My mom is an alcoholic and doesn't work so i have to support me and her with my part-time job. I also have to pay all the bills. My life here is pretty much worthless. any advice.

Re: Broke her step-dads jaw...
You have the right to remain silent. If/when the police come, don't tell them anything about what happened (you're legally required to tell them your name, date of birth, and adress...at least that's all they can ask of you here). Do not talk to them about anything else until you've spoken to a lawyer.
Also talk to your girlfriend about it. Make sure you know what the situation was, and make sure her parents don't pressure her into lying to the police to get you in shit.
If you think there's danger of her being abused/assaulted after this then PLEASE talk to the Police about it. No need to tell them about the incident with the step dad just that you have grounds to believe she is being physically assaulted. Most western countries take violence against women and children very seriously.
Good luck.
EDIT: my MSN/email is in my profile if you have questions or want to talk

What a wonderful place we live in.
I'm sorry about your situation man.
Is he going to sue?
If so, kill him, cut him up, and bury his ass in your backyard.
Run away with your girlfriend, unless you really love your mom.

By all means diffuse the situation. Then report it to the authorities. We have an impartial justice system, and most of the time it works. An eye for an eye and the world will soon be blind.

Re: Broke her step-dads jaw...
Dude... why don't you call the cops before the guy goes and incriminates you as some psycho that stomped into his house, smashed a thing over his head and kicked him in the face then stole his step-daughter and is holding her hostage and force-feeding her drugs to keep her subdued? I'm betting they take the word of an older guy and his scared-to-shit wife over some pothead 15 year old.

Let your girlfriend live with you... Dont drop out of school, but if she gets a part time job as well, then it will share the load out, dont know what to do about the step-dad situation, but make sure you tell the police, and persuade you'r girlfriend to do so as well, otherwise you will be fucked.

Jesus wept, you really are a stupid kid aren't you? (assuming you're not posting from under some bridge somewhere).
You had no idea what was going on, did you?
For example, what if your girlfriend is mentally ill and had attacked her mom?
He was PINNING her against a wall! That isn't abuse as such. There may have been any one of a number of good reasons why he needed to restrain her.
Protect your woman? Yes of course, no question. BUT use your fucking brain first!
A simple 'what's going on here?' would have sufficed.
I hope he was legit and is now going to sue your sorry macho arse for every cent.

Fifteen. Walking into a house without knocking. Being overly dismissive about that fact. Taking on an older man, who was strong enough to pin someone to the wall and knocking him silly with a tea pot, then kicking him in the jaw?
I'm going to say this is bullshit. \
If it turns out being true, then good work, how heroic. And get her to one of her friends places, get her out of yours.

Unless your from the red country you dont leave your doors unlocked, if he was beating up his wife he would have locked the doors.
A grown man say 180-200 pounds would need more then a kick to break his jaw. maybe a hammer
I call bullshit on this scenario

To be fair, you might have someone weighing that much with softer bones or whatever.
And plus, maybe he didn't think to lock and door and risk the wife running into another room and locking it and just layed her straight out instead.
Though I'd like to know what the daughter said and what's happened since...

WTF? I thought you guys felt really safe with your lack of gun crime... My front door hasn't been locked in probably 6 months, besides for the 4 hours when noone is awake in the house.
You all have some weird ideas as to why this is a troll post. I'm not sure, but someone not locking their door isn't very conclusive proof.

Re: Broke her step-dads jaw...
Ok boys and girls I think some ketchian words to your shell-likes are called for here.
So let me mark your cards ...in a totally non-paternal fashion of course.
1.ain't no way, no how, you can know whether or not his kick can or can't have broken the guy's jaw. Bones are some weird shit and everyone is different. Remember the story of the girl who slapped her cheatin' boyfriend across the face and broke all 4 fingers.
2.Legally the moment the father ceased his attack (IF IT WAS AN ATTACK!!!) Dork Angel had to desist. While I do recommend always using a weapon, legally it puts you straight on thin ice.
If the father was attacking his daughter then most courts would let Dork Angel's first blow with tea pot go through as 'defence of another' but the kick to the jaw was assault.
3. Kicking to the jaw is an extremely stupid thing to do in that situation. You run the risk of killing/maiming the guy (look up the term 'contre coupe' for starters).
Also a broken or disclocated jaw won't always put a man out of a fight.
He would have done better to smash the guy's fingers. That would have, 9 times outta ten, ended the fight , is extremely painful and you run little risk of killing someone.

As far as I am concerned the front door is the door on the front of your house.

You seem like quite an honorable person.
I don't know her step dad but there's about
a %1 chance he'll go to the police over this
because he was beating his wife/your girl.
Plus his daughter's boyfriend kicked his ass. OWNAGE!!!
I don't know what to tell you though, seems
like you were dealt quite a shitty hand. I do suggest your girlfriend live with you, at least temporarily.
