I'm still mates with my ex, but then again we more broke up due to circumstances (she's too young and 2600kms away) and I still love her long time Any advice I give you will be ultra hypocrtical.

Never burn a bridge. You may want to do one of her friends in the future. You would want her to say good things about you. No cock blocks.

Exactly, I broke up with my past 2 Girlfriends for the same reason.

One I had to leave back in the states and the other one I left her because we were around 6-7 hours away from each other, work and school on top of that, we barely saw each other.So we both chose to just go our seperate paths, we still meet up and go catch a movie or something.. but my now EX is less then an hour away.. and ugh.. she just.. whatever, dont want to get into it.. but we broke up, just now actually..

So yeah.. Im avoiding her for a while..

Ima go get drunk in 2 hours, so I guess thatll clear my head.. or m stomach at least..

Well there is one ex GF of mine who I not only have been spending a lot of time with again [since last Spring], but that I am actually a lot closer to now than when we were going out together.

In fact she is my second closest friend.

It's even possible that we get back together someday.

On the other hand, there is another ex GF whom I haven't had any contact with since things got ugly last Summer. That one is a totaly psycho-bitch.

That only works if the break up is mutual. My girlfriend just broke up with me without a good reason and I want to be back with her. She keeps calling me and texting and IMing me saying that she wants to be friends and have sex but it's just way to depressing to talk to her. I had to smash my phone into little pieces so that she can't call it anymore.

i just recently broke up with my boyfriend too, but we're still really good friends.

there are some instances when you're better off completely cutting off your ex, but if you guys are still civil, that's good.

Yes, you can still be friends, but only if you were friends. If you don't actually like the person, then friends is a lost cause.

I've only really had 2 actual relationships. In both cases, it was hard to get over the girl so I tried to avoid them at all costs. I dont know why but I just never seemed to stop avoiding them even after I was way over them and I almost never talk to them ever and when I do, it's kind of akward.

Give it time dude, and all will be good.

If she cheated on you, try to be enemies.

If you cheated on her, try to be friends.
