Yes, have an upfront discussion regarding finances. Try to think of every possible scenario upfront before it happens and discuss how you will handle as partners. Many relationships are stressed due to finances.

Even if you are paying for everything, you could still be unhappy if your partner order six porn flicks on cable while you were at work.

Remember: If it is predicable, it is preventable. Just try to cover everything regarding money BEFORE the commencement of the lease agreement.
