K, so in my AP World History class there's this girl I'm infatuated with. I haven't talked to her yet, but I'm working on working up the courage to do so.

I get extra-nervous about tests in this class because I have a fear that I'll do bad on a test and she'll see the bad grade and think I'm an idiot and laugh at me and not want to have anything to do with me.

Do girls really care about men's grades or am I being a tad irrational?

Plz help me.

ok a few things-

1) you're in the class, and that is ewnough. You might look kinda stupid (i got similar problems before) but you're still obviously smart enough to handle yourself

2) intelligence isnt a must to women

It depends on the kind of girl she is. If she's fairly intelligent and a good student, then she might care. I doubt it though, but maybe if you have an attitude in class where you seem interested in learning and ask/answer questions (but not ALL the time of course) it would give a nice impression. Then again, if she's the kind of girl who only cares if you're hot, then well..I guess it doesn't matter.

For the intents and purposes of your thread I'll refrain from generalizing how I usually do.

She might use your grade to size you up, maybe compare herself to you, but in the overall scheme of things looks are more important is high school.

My girlfriend cares about my grades, but only because she cares about me, and she wouldn't leave me if I got a bad mark. She just bugs me to study more.

Your grades should not be a concern of hers. What she thinks of your grades should not be a concern of yours.

YOU should be the ONLY one concerned about your grades. If you don't have the wherewithal or capacity that's one thing, if you are just goofing off that's another. Your studies should be important to you.

Later in life it will be VERY important. As you get older, women are looking for security, and I mean financial security. If you have fucked off in school and end up with a shitty job, you won't have to worry about women. You'll be left out in the cold or with some toothless fat ugly fucking bitch in the trailer park.

you know whats funny? a girl stopped talking to me because i had a higher gpa than her.

I do care about how much effort he puts into things, and it's nice to have somebody intelligent enough to talk to in a meaningful way.

If she's any sort of girl though, she'll be able to look past the marks you get on tests.

Besides, doing poorly is a great excuse to ask for help 'studying'.

If she thinks you're not good enough for because of a bad test score, run.
