Ok for the fourth time today a girl accused me of, I quote her, "looking at me like I'm dumb." This isn't a girl I'm trying to get with, mind you, just a friend, but I guess this is S&A because I only have this problem with girls. Here's the thing, despite whatever is on my mind, I dont try to give anyone dirty looks, so I don't know how this slips. Basically I look anyone in the eyes when I talk to them, and when I asked this friend today what it was exactly she said it's a certain squint I make. As she got back to taking for a while about something dumb, she caught me again doing it, she said "see that's it!" only I didn't feel any face muscles move at all or my eyes move or anything. I'm quite sure this is exactly the fourth time this happens, each time with a different friend. I'm worried that it probably happens with other girls and they just don't tell me about it. I don't even know if you guys can help considering this is a pretty odd problem to have...

All it means is that you have a horrible poker face. Girls talk about dumb shit all the time. Its hard to not naturally move your face when this dumb shit starts coming your way. Its just a natural instinct. Evolutionary-wise humans always have communicated with their faces, or with hand gestures around their faces.

Apes do it. Actually, a lot of animals do it. It's just visual communication. That's just involuntary movements made from millenia of evolution. No way to kick that.

The first thing out of my mouth if a girl said: "you look at me like I'm stupid" would most likely be: "Well, if the shoe fits..."

But, I don't have this problem. I control my facial expressions very well.



Remember.. when you're talking to a girl.. only about 10% of what your communicating is your words. the other 90% is body language(how your standing, where your hands are, what you're doing with your face, ect) and voice tone.(deeper is typically better.. work on talking with a deep voice.. )
