Well, I'll answer your topic...

I have looked for dvds to sale, but I have yet to find a source that you could make any kind of real profit.

With dvds you are competing against every other motherfucker on the net, the stores, and big corporate outlets in your potential customers area.

It is kind of hard to find quality dvds, for a reasonable enough price that would allow you to price competetively. You might look into an alternative product to sale.

The trick to making money selling DVDs, either legit or not, is to get people who are either dumbasses, desperate, or isolated. Believe it or not, many people still beleive that DVDs cost 20 dollars everywhere. Hop over to Costco, buy a bunch of DVDs, and then choose among the following:

1. Sell it, still wrapped. About 10 dollars max.

2. Copy it, sell the copies, and keep it. 2-7 dollars per copy.

3. Rip the DVD movie, encode it into DivX, then sell it for about $2 to a whole lot of people.

4. Do 2, 3, then 1.

Of course, the only problem here is getting the DVDs... cheaply. I recommend searching Bittorrents for ISOs, or P2P for "<movie name> ISO". Invest in a labeller, and print your own labels.
