Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with a question about the synthesis of crystal meth. I have read that if someone were going to make some ice, they are supposed to used psuedoephedrine, then using denatured alcohol to extract ephedrine. My question is this; could you just go out and buy pure ephedrine tablets and use them instead of using psuedoephedrine? As well, does anyone know the concentration of iodine needed for the synth. of ice? And finally if you don't or can't buy iodine is it easy to use iodine tincture as a source, and if so is there a page you could direct me to for the method?

Either way dude,you need to extract the E from the pill anyway,it's not not just pure E but it has binders and shit in them too that you have to extract. And you need to extract the iodine from the tincture.

Well said 46method, my sentiments exactly! Seems like I heard it said somewhere “The lord helps those that help there self’s”. MrHappy, I think you will find that those who are capable of providing help in this forum are much more apt to provide that help if you first show some personal initiative. Doing research should NOT be the last resort for someone but the FIRST. If you aren’t willing to do research then most here aren’t willing to help you.
