Hey there, I was just wondering if any of you could help me out with the synthesis of iodine tincture. I was reading one of the "how to" pages on this site for making meth and the author of the page stated that the process is listed on the main page, but I could not find it.

Also, if any of you could help me out as to the ratios of ingredients, it would really help my reasearch along quite a bit.

pour 1 pint 7% iodine tincture (no povidone), stir in 2 cups dH2O, stir in 30mL muriatic acid, let sit 15 minutes, stir in 1 pint 3% hydrogen peroxide, let sit 12 hours, filter, rinse filters with dH2O, chuck liquid, squeeze and replace filters until dry. empty filters into some wax paper, then place in a jar with dried epsom salts (cook 400f for 20 minutes). yield is supposed to be around 45g.
