Has anyone here heard somthing wierd about DMT. I heard stuff like when tooken at a certain does for some people, that there faces distort for a little bit as if they were in a wind tunnel. If this is true, what and where do i get the stuff to extract it?

If not, it is worth checking out. The info I could share would be summarizations on his work... therefore, I'd suggest going to the source. And plus... Alex Grey's book cover artwork is always nice... (He also did the cd artwork for Tool - Lateralus)

various plants can be used to extract dmt.

just try a wordsearch with following plant names:

mimosa hostillis

psychotria viridis

acacia maidenii

acacia obtusifolia

acacia phlebophylla = very endangered species

phalaris arundinacea

phalaris spp.

phragmites australis

and many others some even native to the u.s.

actually most of those contain 5-Meo-DMT, not DMT. There is a huge difference. the 5-meo-dmt is much more uncomfortable than the regular dmt and much stronger. a lot of people dont like dmt, and even more people than that dont like 5meodmt. if you havent done it before i would suggest trying something else a little less strong to start with.

and to find out what you will need for extractions then read about a/b of organic matter.

no, most of them contain only dmt!

viridis for example is a very clean dmt source. the phalaris and phragmites contain 5-meo-dmt and bufotenin aswell true, but stay away from those anyway because they contain gramin which is hard to remove and will make you sick.

australiens use acacia obtusifolia (bark or phyllodes) and maidenii.

the rest of you, get hostillis bark from brazil.

hmm, @ acidmelt you obviously dont know much about dmt plants other wise you would not have posted an answere like you did.

u make it sound like my list is wrong, but i tell you just because some body asks for "dmt" those plants will not change there alkaloid profile for you!!!

all dmt plants contain a mixture of actives,

and the one containing mostly dmt are the ones i mentioned, there are NO better ones.

acacia phlebophylla is the best in this regard, it allmost only contains dmt as major alkaloid. but this plant is very threatend to be extinct soon.

aswell viridis is used in ayahuasca brews, because it contains n,n-dmt but no 5meo!

yeah i dont know shit about drugs,,, your right. actually of the list you posted a few of them cant even be considered viable since they are almost extinct, of the other 5 that you posted... 3 of them are 5-Meo-Dmt. so most (being over 50%) of the plants that you posted are 5-Meo-DMT... not including the few that would be impossible to get of course.
